Hello, I've been an animal lover my whole life and got my first dog as an adult 18 years ago, I've rescued 2 dogs and raised 2 from puppy. I love to take full advantage of the local fenced dog parks and place like Beaumaris Lake for dog walks. I am willing to walk your dog as part of my pack or alone. I always had dogs and cats around the house growing up. Our family pets have always been treated like kids, loved unconditionally, with boundaries. We are very lax about dogs on the furniture and our couches more often than not have our 2 current Basset Hounds hogging them. Of and on over the past 15 years I've minded dogs from friends and family while they enjoy human vacations. We've cared for multiple Labs, a couple of Great Danes, a Bloodhound and a Rottie and some day visits from a Dachshund. Our human and furry family members welcome our visitors like they are our own, love and cuddles and walks. For those wishing to stay over or visit for the day we have a very large fenced yard with tons of room to run and hangout in the sunshine. We also shovel a path around the yard in winter when the snow gets deep for our short legged guys. The are plenty of outdoor chairs on the deck to lounge on and a large dog house with a small deck to hang in as well. Currently we have 2 Basset Hounds, 6 and 8 years old, lounging about the house. My 2 kids (age 12 and 15) are very comfortable all types and sized of dogs and routinely help in the care of our boys. Come be part of our pack and relax knowing your dog will enjoy loving, playful company while your are away from them. I am a stay at home Mom so our schedule is very flexible. I am home the better part of the day and night and have the help of 2 teenagers to care for and cuddle our furry friends. Our pets have the run of the main floor and enjoy the very large fenced yard. Whether your dog is spending a day, an overnight or an extended visit they will be treated like our own pets. We try to keep to our visitors usual routines for sleeping accommodation and feeding; what your pet feels most comfortable doing.
