Safety, trust & environment

I provide care exclusively in the client’s home, where pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible: feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of companionship. I also treat the home with care and respect, and keep you updated so you can relax while you’re away knowing everything is in good hands.

Information Pamela W. would like to know about your pet

I love learning each pet’s quirks and preferences ahead of time. Please tell me about their routine, favorite toys, treats, medications, fears, escape-artist tendencies, and any habits that make them uniquely themselves. The little details matter, and they help me provide the kind of care your pet is already used to receiving. I’d also like to know whether your pet has separation anxiety, any leash reactivity, how they interact with other animals and people, any house rules they normally follow. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can help them feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away.

A typical day

Every pet has their own idea of fun, and I’m happy to go along with it. Whether that’s chasing tennis balls, going on walks, playing with favorite toys, supervising squirrel patrol from the window, or simply enjoying a quiet evening together, I like meeting animals where they are. I firmly believe that telling pets they’re adorable counts as an activity, and I have extensive experience in that department.

Pet care experience

Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I’m often the first person they call when they need someone dependable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality, and I love building relationships with them over time. I previously cared for a blind Cocker Spaniel with a very strong personality and learned a lot about patience, routine, and helping senior pets feel safe and comfortable. Because of that experience, I’m especially attentive to animals who need a little extra understanding or prefer things done their own way. Whether your pet is outgoing, anxious, goofy, or gloriously stubborn, I’ll meet them where they are and make sure they feel loved while you’re away.

Pamela was fantastic with Barnaby! She sent photos for the visit and clearly spent quality time playing with him. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in her care, and it was so reassuring to get those updates while I was away. Would absolutely book her again — highly recommend!

Pamela has been an amazing pet sitter for our family. She takes wonderful care of our dog, bunny and fish, and I always have complete peace of mind knowing they're in her hands. She is incredibly attentive, dependable, and truly cares about each of my pets' individual needs. It's clear she treats them as if they were her own. Our goldendoodle truly loves her and is always happy to see her and is sad when she leaves. I completely trust Pamela, and I always come home to happy, well-cared-for pets. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy pet sitter!

Pamela is reliable, bright, responsible and super kind and compassionate to everyone; adults, children of all ages and especially to our 4 legged friends and family members. She would recognize any change in behavior that would warrant the attention of a veterinarian. Joan Scharf

Pamela house-sat for Barnaby and made the whole trip stress-free. She sent regular updates the entire time, so I never had to worry about how he was doing. And it's obvious Barnaby adores her — he gets visibly excited the second she walks in. That kind of reaction says more than any review could. Highly recommend her.
