I was 4 years old when my parents brought our first dog home and I was hooked for life! I have loved rescue dogs and pedigrees, small dogs up to large ones, dogs who shed and those who do not. I trained my dogs to have good manners and to learn fun tricks. I bred my last dog twice with purpose. I wanted both my middle school sons to witness and appreciate the messy and hard work involved when a dog is in heat and finally gives birth to her pups. I turned our living room into a large plastic swimming pool for our friends, kiddos and passersby to cuddle with and watch the puppies, even the momma, nurse, bathe, frolic and grow in the pool. Such fond memories. I miss my furry friends! I am retired, and have a very flexible schedule. I welcome your pet in my home, and will happily stay at yours. Please let me know about food restrictions, allergies, favorite spots to rub, etc. I want your little friend to feel safe, comfortable, happy and right at home with me! I live in a condo on the 12th floor. I also have a small balcony, but will keep the door closed when I am caring for your dog. In addition, I have a guard around the balcony to protect dogs from any potential harm.
