I am home regularly, but if I am away, it is usually for short periods of time. Besides walks we like to go the beach on hot days and dog sled on snowy days. We would adjust activities according to your pet's needs and interests.

As a COVID-19 precaution I will wear a mask during meet & greets, pick-ups and drop-offs. We'll meet outside my home. Pets are never left unattended while outside. While you're away I will send you photos of your pets so you can see how they're doing. I only care for pets from the same home unless you request otherwise (e.g. you request sitting for you and a friend's pet who already knows yours). If your dog has separation anxiety I recommend finding a sitter who will stay in your home to help ease your pet's anxiety.

Information Pamela R. would like to know about your pet
I like to know their routine (e.g. meals, walks), triggers/reactivity issues (e.g. dogs, squirrels, rabbits, cats, bikes, cars, men, storms), walking habits (e.g. pulling, training), where they like/dislike being pet, where they sleep (e.g. crate, floor, couch, bed), and routine before/during being left alone (e.g. treat, in crate) so I can be mindful of those things while we're together.
A typical day
I have an unfenced yard but a 30 foot long line so pets can run if we're playing fetch or they just want to sniff around. If they're up for it we'll also explore the neighbourhood and nearby trails.

Pet care experience
I have over 10 years of experience (on Rover since 2018) taking care of pets of various species, ages, sizes, abilities, and health needs. I've done countless overnights as well as month-long sits. Tell me about your pet's routines, needs, quirks, triggers/reactivity, joys, and I'll do my best to replicate what you do at home. I have a friendly young dog who loves to play and a reserved middle aged cat who likes to sleep. Both are highly adaptable to the rotating cast of characters that we host.
Reviews

Pamela was amazing! My Stella is a bit shy in a new place but Pamela took her to the beach her favorite place! And she warmed right up.

My Simon settled in quickly. Pamela sent me regular updates with awesome photos. I'll absolutely be sending Simon to stay there again.

This was our dog’s second stay with Pamela and he was very happy to see her. Pamela sent a lot of pictures and provided updates which we appreciated so much. She is always quick to respond and very observant of any special needs.

Pamela was a wonderful care provider for Goose. She provided timely updates and photos throughout his stay with her putting me at ease despite our first time booking with her. Picked up Goose happy and exhausted from hours of play with his new buddy Moose. We look forward to booking with Pamela in the near future! Thank you Pamela and Moose for a great experience!
