I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m home the majority of the day. Because of that, your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day — they’ll rarely (if ever) be left alone. I’m happy to follow any routines or rules your pet is used to, whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, going on walks, or keeping them off the furniture. I can also send regular updates and pictures so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
Creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment is my top priority when caring for pets — whether they’re in my home or I’m visiting theirs. At my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, dog-friendly space with a fully fenced backyard and plenty of room to play or relax. I live with my boyfriend and our golden retriever, Yadi, who is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs. I work from home, so pets are rarely left alone and get plenty of attention throughout the day. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible and can accommodate crate training, feeding schedules, medication, or any special needs. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines — I know how important it is for pets to feel secure in their own environment. I stick to their normal walking routes, feeding schedules, and rules (whether they’re allowed on the couch or not!). I always aim to keep things stress-free and familiar so they can stay happy and relaxed while you’re away. Whether in my home or yours, I care for every pet as if they were my own — with kindness, patience, and attention to detail.

Information Pamela P. would like to know about your pet
Before watching any pet, I like to know a few key things to make sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. That includes: • Daily routine: Mealtimes, potty breaks, exercise, and bedtime habits. • Medical needs: Any medications, allergies, or health issues I should watch for. • Behavior quirks: Do they get nervous during storms? Are they leash reactive? Do they try to dart out the door? • Social preferences: Do they like other pets? Kids? Strangers? Or are they more of a solo cuddle buddy? • Commands and training cues: What words or signals do they respond to? Are there any behaviors being worked on? • Favorite things: Toys, treats, belly rubs, or even a special spot on the couch—these little details go a long way in helping them feel comfortable. Basically, anything that helps me care for them the way you would!
A typical day
A typical day while pet sitting starts with morning check-ins—fresh food and water, potty breaks or a walk, and a few minutes of play to get the day started right. Throughout the day, I keep a consistent routine based on what the pet is used to—whether that’s cuddle time on the couch, a midday walk, or quiet companionship while I work or read nearby. I send regular updates with photos so the owner feels connected and at ease. In the evening, I will take them on another walk and play fetch with them in the back yard. Before bed, I make sure they’re settled, fed, and content before bedtime.

Loving Walks & Reliable Care
Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Gussie — a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and needs. I’ve had animals my entire life, from bunnies and cats to big lovable dogs. Growing up, I cared for my white Lab, who had several medical issues. I took full responsibility for his care in high school — giving medication, monitoring his health, and making sure he felt loved and safe every day until he sadly passed. More recently, I adopted my golden retriever almost two years ago and trained him myself. He has a reliable recall, a strong sit and stay, and knows all the basic tricks. It’s been such a rewarding experience building that trust and communication together. These experiences have made me passionate about giving animals the same thoughtful care and love they bring into our lives. Whether your pet needs a high-energy playmate, a calm and comforting presence, or someone with experience giving medication, I’ll treat them with the same care and affection I’d want for my own. I believe animals are family, and I treat them that way. I’d love to meet you and your furry loved one soon!
Reviews

Gussie was a lovely pet parent for our dog’s stay! She is so kind and laid back, and made us feel so good about leaving our doggie with her. She sent pics and kept us updated. Will definitely book with her again!

Gussie was amazing and took great care of my dog while we were away for a long weekend. She sent tons of photos, videos and updates all day! Very flexible with my schedule after dealing with flight issues. 10/10!! Couldn’t recommend her enough!!

We are so grateful for the amazing care Pamela gave our pups! She kept us updated all day with the sweetest pictures and messages, which gave us so much peace knowing they were in great hands. Our dogs looked so happy and comfortable the whole time. Thank you, Pamela, for treating them like your own, we couldn’t have asked for better care! ❤️🐶

Pamela is wonderful. She is thoughtful and gives honest feedback to help with future training. We appreciate her for watching our puppy as he continues to learn and grow.
