I work from home in my townhome and welcome any breaks from my work, especially for a pup! I have flexibility for all day snuggles and frequent walks. Im a bit of a homebody on the weekends too so they can expect a lot of attention. In the instances that I do need to leave the home for errands and such, I would love to bring your pup along (given your approval of course). I’d be happy to use any dog carriers, carriages, car seats, etc - whatever you usually use!

I keep my home very clean and free of food/ crumbs that your pet could get into. When watching a dog for the first time, I start them in our living room (where I work) and keep the upstairs blocked off so I can keep a close eye. NOTE: We do have a fairly large staircase. Please let me know if your pup can tackle these or if they need to be carried up and down. I am more than happy to invite you into my home during either the meet and greet or the first stay so that you can look around and let me know if there are any areas you are concerned about or would like blocked off. Just let me know! Please let me know if your pup has a tendency to go for things such as shoes, boxes, charging cables, etc. I will be sure to keep these out of reach! There is a ton of natural light from the glass balcony doors for them to enjoy that afternoon sun. If your dog is crate trained, I have the space in either my bedroom or living room for it. Otherwise a dog bed or my bed for night time! Whatever they are used to.

Information Pamela N. would like to know about your pet
HEALTH Please let me know about any medical, behavioral issues with your pup. I want to make sure I have all the details so that I can best care for them. - do they have any medications? - eyesight or hearing issues? - any sensitive spots to be mindful of while petting? - dislike other dogs? - are they okay around kids? men? PREFERENCES/ BEHAVIORS So that I can best care for them during their stay, please provide me with the following info: - How do they notify you of needing to go out? (standing by door, getting restless, etc) - Any barking tendencies and how to interpret (walk, play, etc) - Do they like trips out of the house. If so, do they prefer to be held or on the ground when in public. let me know if they rather be a stay at home pup, that’s ok too! - When your pup is looking extra cute and deserving of a special treat, would I be able to give them one of the following: cooked egg, peanut butter stuffed kong, banana, or anything else they like!)
A typical day
As for activities and walks, I am pretty close to Armature works and the river walk. If they do well in public, I’d love to bring them along for errands in the neighborhood or grab some food at a dog friendly cafe. Also,If you have any doggy carriers you want to give me during their stay I am more than happy to use it! I have a large L shaped couch where I used to chase my iggy back and forth on. It was his favorite place to play. I have rugs on the floor so no slipping or injuries! With your approval I can also bring them to a dog park! I just ask that you give me details on how they interact with other dogs and if there are any breeds or sizes of dogs they may not get along well with.

Pet care experience
I’ve been doing Rover for almost 3 years now and can confidently say this is the BEST thing I have ever done. All of my local clients have become regulars and I am in love with their pups. They are my babies! I moved from LA to Tampa recently so I am really looking forward to meeting more doggy friends ❤️ I used to have two cute Shih-Tzus, Kobey and Kooper, and a handsome Italian Greyhound, Lucca. Especially with my Iggy, I was always very cautious when using dog sitters. He couldn’t be left alone or out of sight for one minute or he would get into something. After a scare when he was very young, I turned into a very anal dog mama. I promise to keep a close eye on your pup! My Shih Tzu had many behavioral issues as a result of coming from a puppy mill :(. Whether it be aggression, anxiety, or nerves, I am good at handling all temperaments! As he got older he lost his hearing and eyesight and needed to be hand fed. He also required both ear and eye drops daily. So, no need to worry about your elderly pup. I will give them all the help they need! Just let me know all the details! I will be happy to reinforce any training you are doing at home. Please let me know the commands and reward system you use so I can keep things consistent. I can give you as many or as little updates as you’d like! Ranging from hourly photos/videos to just a daily update text! I’m so obsessed with every dog I sit I basically vlog our entire experience together (aka hours of baby talk and new nick names🤦🏻♀️) I miss my doggies so much so I really am looking forward to taking care of yours :)
Reviews

She took great care of my dog and sent pictures throughout the day. Would recommend her and will use her again.

Pam was awesome, flexible when I had unexpected travel changes come up and I always know Sami is super well taken care of when he’s with her.

The absolute best Rover sitter of all time! It is quite possible my dog prefers Pamela’s place to our own home 😂

Pamela is awesome! I cannot express enough how attentive and communicative she is. When I leave Chance with her I know he’s in good hands. I’m never worried. She’s the best! If you’re looking for a peace of mind while you’re away- do yourself a favor, and book her. ❤️
