Pet care experience
Your Pet’s Second-Favorite Human 🐾
Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and getting to know each dog's unique personality is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Over the past 5+ years, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities from high energy pups who love to play to anxious or reactive dogs who just need a little extra patience and understanding. My own dog, Xochitl, has taught me so much about reading body language, building trust, and creating positive experiences for every dog I care for. She's playful, friendly, and loves making new friends, which has been a wonderful bonus for many of the dogs who stay with us. I'm experienced caring for puppies, reactive dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs, including administering oral medications, eye drops, following special diets, and sticking to detailed routines. Every dog is different, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and safe. A few things you can always expect from me: 💛 5+ years of hands-on dog care experience 💛 Experience with large & small breeds, high-energy, anxious, and reactive dogs 💛 Plenty of walks, playtime, mental enrichment, and cuddles 💛 Regular photo & video updates (plus the occasional funny moment!) 💛 Careful attention to body language, routines, and your dog's individual needs 💛 A clean, calm, and loving environment where your pup is treated like family At the end of the day, I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for with the same love, patience, and attention I'd want for my own.

Pam is great! It was our second time leaving Bentley with her and he was so excited to see her. That’s the best way of telling that your dog is well taken care of - he wants to go back. Pam sent us daily updates, took Bentley to the dog park, and had him play with her dog. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to others.

Pamela took really good care of my pup (Sasha). Her dog (Xochilt) got along with her. And she never failed to send updates and photos. Would definitely recommend her!

Pamela was amazing with Bella! Very communicative and we felt very comfortable leaving Bella with her. Will recommend to anyone in need of daycare for their pup.

Pam was great with our dog Bentley! She was easy to communicate with from day one, clearly a dog lover, and kept us updated on how he was doing. It was a bonus for me that Bentley got to spend time with her dog Xotchil and they went to a dog park daily. I would highly recommend Pam to others and I’m sure we’ll use her in the future again.

Pamela is a wonderful care owner of all kinds of animals, especially dogs. On numerous occasions she has watched and taken care of not only my dogs over night but countless others. In these instances where she is watching over others animals she follows their strict food routine, and play time schedules. Pamela is also very approachable and easily avaible in case of any type of last minute emergency. Pamela is also well versed in maintaining a healthy and happy dog. Finally Pamela is also extradinary with her own dog, whom she keeps very happy and healthy in ways I personally have never thought of before.
I can’t recommend my friend Pam enough as a dog sitter. She’s patient, attentive, and truly wonderful with dogs, and she took excellent care of my French bulldog, Kingsley. She stuck closely to his routine and simple meal plan, made sure he got his fun walks and playtime, and followed every special instruction. Most importantly, she kept him safe, comfortable, and loved the entire time. Kingsley warmed up to her right away, and I always felt confident knowing he was in such caring, reliable hands.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is dog friendly and located in a safe, very walkable neighborhood. There are multiple designated areas nearby for dogs to use the bathroom, as well as several dog parks within a 10 min walking distance for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and social time. All outings are based on the owner’s preferences and the dog’s comfort level. Dogs in my care are always supervised, follow their regular routines, and receive attentive, structured care. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their established routines so pets feel comfortable and secure!

A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of walks, playtime, and enrichment based on your dog’s energy level. We’ll go on relaxed neighborhood walks to sniff and explore, play games at home, and visit nearby dog parks if that’s something your dog enjoys. I also make sure dogs get downtime, cuddles, meals, and any medications or special care they need, all while sticking to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and happy.

- Before care begins, I like to learn about your dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs. Please let me know about feeding schedules, medications, reactivity, training cues, or anything that helps your dog feel safe and relaxed. I’m happy to accommodate special diets, structured routines, and behavioral needs, and I always tailor care to what works best for each individual dog.
