Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and getting to know each dog's unique personality is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Over the past 5+ years, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities from high energy pups who love to play to anxious or reactive dogs who just need a little extra patience and understanding. My own dog, Xochitl, has taught me so much about reading body language, building trust, and creating positive experiences for every dog I care for. She's playful, friendly, and loves making new friends, which has been a wonderful bonus for many of the dogs who stay with us. I'm experienced caring for puppies, reactive dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs, including administering oral medications, eye drops, following special diets, and sticking to detailed routines. Every dog is different, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and safe.
