Pet care experience

Bringing a smile to your furbaby!!!

I have had a pets since I can remember. Cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, rabbits and birds. Currently I have two dogs, Sookie, a greatdane-bull and Wicket, a lhasa apso-maltese. I have been boarding and providing daycare in my home since 2021 as well as house sitting and doing drop-in visits. My home is pet friendly. We allow our dogs in bed and on the couch. We have a screened-in pool and secure dog run on the side of the pool. If your dog likes to swim and get in the pool I encourage it. I love to go swimming with my dogs. If not thats OK too. While your pet is in my care they will be loved and well taken care of. I absolutely believe I have one of the best jobs ever!

🌟 Pamela's Pet Sitting Review 🌟 I can't say enough about how fantastic Pamela was while watching our Havanese, Boomy! 🐶💖 She was not only super caring but also very professional. Pamela did an overnight stay in our home and arranged playdates, walked Boomy, and provided exceptional care. She even sent us adorable pictures throughout her stay! 📸🐾 If you're looking for someone to care for your fur baby, Pamela is the best! Highly recommend! 🌈✨

Pam was absolutely AMAZING with our beloved “Litty Cat Queen,” Nikilee. At 20 years old, Nikilee requires extra love, patience, and gentle attention—and Pam exceeded every expectation. Her care was not just attentive on day one—it was genuine, consistent, and came straight from the heart the entire week. You can truly feel that this is who Pam is. She is, without a doubt, the most intuitive and compassionate animal caregiver I have ever experienced. Pam kept us completely at ease with frequent updates, including photos, videos, and thoughtful messages, so we always knew how our girl was doing. That level of communication meant everything to us. She even went above and beyond—bathing, brushing, and lovingly caring for Nikilee, even capturing the sweetest moments of her looking like the little queen she is. Pam is kind, gentle, attentive, and incredibly passionate. To us, she is truly a “Kitty Whisperer.” We are so grateful and look forward to having her care for Nikilee and the rest of our family again in the future! —Diana

Schedule

My husband and I just moved to Cape Coral from Portland to be closer to my family, especially my elderly mother. I choose to do this job full time because it allows me the flexibility to spend time with my family.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I do not have a full fenced in yard, but i built a secure dog run so they can spend time outside without the fear they will escape. I covered it with stepping stones, gravel and artificial turf so they do not track dirt, sand or mud into the pool area.

Pets

A typical day

I will take my dogs to parks for games such as fetch and chase. I have a subscription on "Sniffspot" which allows me to take my pups to our own "private dog park" that is shaded on hot days, lots of room to run and explore and is also fenced in so our babies stay safe.

A few years ago my Standard Poodle had epilepsy. He was my first love and sadly passed away at 9yrs old due to complications that had nothing to do with his seizures but now I am well versed in all things epilepsy and other dogs illnesses such as doggie diabetes and incontinence.
