I’m currently not working so I have plenty of flexibility to walk your dog during the day and pet sit weekdays or weekends. I take long walks during the day and when the weather is nice love to go hiking and take the dog I am watching with me (if that is something you would like as well).

Your dog will have ability full access to my home as if it were their own. I do allow dogs on my furniture unless it is something you would prefer they don’t do. As for sleeping, whatever works best for your pup - on a dog bed, up on my bed, in a crate. I just want them comfortable.

Information Pamela K. would like to know about your pet

Every pet is different, so I like to get a good understanding ahead of time. It’s helpful to know your dog’s personality, energy level, and any quirks (like fears, reactivity, or separation anxiety). I also ask about leash habits, recall, how they do with other dogs/people, and any medical needs or medications. Favorite toys, treats, and routines are always great to know too—my goal is to keep things as familiar, safe, and enjoyable as possible for them. I can always do a meet and greet beforehand to make sure it is a good fit.

A typical day

I love taking walks and hikes with dogs and try to make each walk feel like an adventure! Depending on the dog, we’ll explore local parks, hiking trails, go on neighborhood sniff walks, or play fetch and games to burn off energy. I also mix in calmer time—like leisurely strolls, belly rubs, and just letting them enjoy being outside. I tailor activities to each dog’s personality, whether they’re high-energy or more laid-back.

Pet care experience

I have had my own dogs my whole life and have taken care of friends dogs on many occasions. I have had them overnight and done dog walking for them. I have raised two of my own dogs from puppies and trained them and dealt with senior care with both of them. My golden retriever also health issues that required medication and I well now well versed in that,

Pamela is a phenomenal pet caregiver. I know she has had her own dogs that have lived wonderful lives. When she takes care of my animals she treats them like her own. She makes sure they get lots of walks, cuddles, and attention. She keeps them happy and healthy - what more could you ask for? She has experience with pets of all sizes. I would always choose Pamela to look after my pets!

Once Pam watches your dog, you’re in trouble … in the very best way: your dog will run to the door when they hear her voice and happily trot out (often without turning back) with her because they know they’re in for a great day. Pam is incredibly active and makes sure the dogs get good exercise if they’re up for it—not just a quick loop around the block, but long walks, playtime, and lots of fresh air. At the same time, she’s genuinely loving and attentive, treating them like her own with plenty of cuddles and cozy down time too. As someone who has raised two dogs from puppies, she really understands their needs at every stage, and it shows in how confidently and thoughtfully she cares for them. She’s been wonderful with my two dogs—reliable, communicative, and clearly adored by them. It’s a great relief knowing they’re in such capable and caring hands. She’s my go-to.

Pam is a true dog lover and my dog absolutely loves her! Pam is one of the few people I trust to watch my dog and I never have to worry. She incredibly responsible and loving. In fact, she stops to greet most every dog she passes. Pam has taken care of my dog on multiple occasions - I would trust her in every situation. Pam is honest, reliable, attentive, and very knowledgeable about dog care.

Pam is an amazing pet caregiver. I’ve seen her take care of her dogs with love and care for many years. I’ve also had her take care of my dog who just absolutely loves her. Pam is very active and will make sure your dog gets all the activity they need with long walks. Best person to leave your pet with!
