🐾 Hi, I’m Pamela! Animals have been a part of my life since I was 16, when I got my first job at a pet shop. Over the past 7+ years, I’ve worked in pet shops, veterinary clinics, and as a veterinary assistant, gaining hands-on experience with dogs, cats, small pets, grooming, medication administration, senior pets, and animals with special needs. Caring for animals has never been “just a job” for me—it’s something I truly love. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, relaxed, and loved while their family is away. I recently moved to Karlsruhe (Oststadt) and would love to welcome your furry family member into my home. ⸻ 🏡 About my home I live in a spacious Einzimmerwohnung (studio apartment) in a quiet neighborhood in Karlsruhe – Oststadt. The open layout allows me to keep an eye on your dog at all times, so they’re never left isolated in another room. For extra comfort during the warmer months, my apartment is air-conditioned, helping your pet stay cool and comfortable even on hot summer days. To provide the highest quality of care, I only accept one dog at a time. The only exception is for dogs from the same household, so they can stay together. This allows me to give every guest my full attention and create a calm, stress-free environment. 🇨🇭 I’m based in Germany, but my boyfriend lives in Switzerland, so I regularly spend time there as well. Whenever I’m staying in Switzerland, I’m happy to combine my time there with something I genuinely love: taking care of pets. 🐾 ⸻ 🐶 During your dog’s stay Every dog is unique, so I always adapt my care to their personality, energy level, and daily routine. Ich hätte mir während meiner Diesntreise keine bessere Betreuung für meinen Hund wünschen können als Pam. Nach zwei Betreuungstagen zum gegenseitigen Kennenlernen hat sie meinen Senior bei uns zu Hause gesittet, damit er in seiner gewohnten Umgebung bleiben konnte. Pam ist absolut zuverlässig, herzlich und vertrauenswürdig. Sie hat mir regelmäßig Fotos und Videos geschickt, was mir ein sehr gutes Gefühl gegeben hat – ich wusste einfach immer, dass mein Hund in den besten Händen ist. Alles super gelaufen. Pamela war super pünktlich und absolut zuverlässig. Meine Hündin hat sich mit ihr sehr wohl gefühlt. Das werden wir bestimmt noch mehrfach machen. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Pam was excellent! She took care of corvie so well and corvie loved being with her. You can fully trust her with your pet because of how much care and love she provides. She also gives frequent photo and video updates to make you comfortable and I loved her positive energy towards corvie! Will definitely be rebooking with Pam more often in the near future!

Schedule
I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m based in Germany but regularly spend time in Switzerland, as my boyfriend lives there. While I’m in Switzerland, I’m available for dog walking and pet sitting in the owner’s home only. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual schedule and routine, and I always keep my availability updated on Rover.

Safety, trust & environment
In Germany, I offer pet care both in my own home and in the pet owner’s home. When I’m in Switzerland, I offer dog walking and pet sitting in the owner’s home only. I always respect your home and follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, medication and any special instructions. With my previous experience working in a veterinary clinic, I’m also comfortable caring for senior, anxious and special-needs pets. Your pet’s safety, comfort and well-being are always my priority.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I always adapt the day to their personality, energy level and usual routine. With dogs, I love going for walks, exploring new smells, playing, cuddling and giving them plenty of attention. With cats, I enjoy playtime and keeping them company while also respecting their space. Since I work remotely, I can spend plenty of time with the pets I care for throughout the day.
