Safety, trust & environment

My routine for house stays, dog walking, or drop ins are based on your needs for your pets! I will do my absolute best to accommodate your daily structure for them by following a simple schedule by starting all morning duties between 7-9am, afternoon exercise and stimulation between 12-2pm, early evening for dinner or other activities between 4-6pm and then nighttime duties between 8-10pm. Throughout each day, I love to provide updates and some pictures to keep you feeling relaxed knowing things are going well. Otherwise, whatever you need is what they will get!

Information Pamela B. would like to know about your pet

I will always request to do a Meet and Greet so that I may meet the pet(s) first. This is just to see if I am a good fit for them as much as I am a good fit for you! If I see or sense aggression either at the meet and greet, I will have to unfortunately decline the request. If a pet is aggressive during an overnight house stay (after I have exhausted methods to get around the behavior), for my safety, I will inform you of the situation and will not stay in the home overnight, but will still come by the house a few times to check-in, feed, and let out the animals until you arrive back home or other arrangements have been made. This depends on how severe the aggression is as well. I like to keep my promises and do my absolute best to handle any situations respectfully and with all fairness, but safety for myself and your pet(s) will always come first!

A typical day

If you have a fairly active pet, I love to provide them with the exercise and stimulation they may need! I love going on walks and playing with their toys. I find joy and fun in interacting with playful pets! If you have older or rather lowkey pets, I love to give them lots of love and cuddles or whatever they may prefer throughout the day! No matter what their temperment is, I am sure to find something they will love while you are away!

Loving Care for Your Peace of Mind

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Pamela but I prefer Katie! I am located in Concord/Charlotre, NC area and am willing to travel up to about 45-50 minutes away from my home base. I have been working with animals as a pet sitter, dog walker, kennel assistant, and as an ICU tech since 2020. I have loved animals my entire life and cared for every pet I have met as if they were my own. I have lots of experience with all types of pets with all types of needs, ranging from young pups and kittens to older ones with extensive care. I have gained hands-on experience administering medications that are oral and subcutaneous. I work with animals who are hospitalized or with special needs daily at my current job, so I am more than happy to accept pets that need attentive care while you are away! I am more than a dog and cat lover, I enjoy meeting other critters like (and not limited to) rabbits, reptiles, and rodents like hamsters and guinea pigs! I love to learn and gain new experience every day. I find peace and enjoyment traveling and helping people feel less stressed about leaving their pets at home while they do the same! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or requests!

Our two Goldens were happy campers when Katie stayed and house/pet sat with them. Her updates were enjoyed and she handled the medications perfectly. We will definitely book with Katie again.

Katie (Pamela) was fantastic! My pup is an older gal who needs a little extra care and attention, and Katie took such wonderful care of her. She was communicative throughout the stay and sent daily updates and photos, which of course, every pet owner loves! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my dog was in such caring hands. I would absolutely recommend Katie for any of your pet care needs!
