For as far back as I can remember I have always had an affinity for animals! I was drawn to them and they were drawn to me! I am a registered nurse of 30 years with my focus being emergency care, preop, and recovery. I work with several rescues and have rescued/fostered close to 50 dogs out of the Houston area shelters in the last 5 years as well as volunteering services for these organizations where I see my skills fit. I donate time consistently at Abandoned Animal Rescue walking and providing care for the dogs at the facility. It is there that I realized how very much I enjoyed looking after the dogs outside of my home setting and providing them with love and affection in their time of transition or need. I have two dogs of my own and often enjoy having a few extras around as well! I can provide daily walks, feeding, medication administration, playtime, or just spending time with and snuggling your baby while you’re away. I know what it’s like to worry when you have to be away from your fur babies for travel or work – they are a part of the family! – and that’s exactly how I promise to treat them!🐾

I am responsible, reliable, and seasoned! I will treat your animals the same way that I would want someone to care for my very own. I am comfortable with various breeds and all size dogs! I understand how stressful it can be to need to be away from your animals and I am always open to being contacted for questions or details and enjoy giving you comfort while you have to be away by providing pictures and updates. I feel as if a meet and greet is a must to alleviate the initial stress for your furbaby when meeting someone new and to help prepare me to take care of your pet and meet their needs in the best way possible.

Another amazing experience with Pam watching our dog! I literally do not have to worry, I’ve never felt so relaxed leaving my dog in someone’s hands. Can’t recommend her enough.

Pam is wonderful! We scheduled a meet and greet prior and she was on time and so in tune with our new to us foster/rescue. Her compassion and expertise were both evident right away. We booked a day we needed 2 checks in; she was prompt, sweet to our dog, sent pictures. We are so fortunate to have found her Thank you Pam!

Schedule
I am an empty nester with a somewhat flexible schedule. I have chosen to care for animals because I truly enjoy all kinds of animal care and rescue and find it personally rewarding. It’s not work, it’s a passion! I am available most days of the week for drop ins or walks.

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences. I love to pamper and show them lots of affection, but each dog is different and has different preferences for stimulation, play, and comfort. The more that I can understand about your dog ahead of time, the better I can accommodate and meet their needs! My goal is for them to enjoy their time, take care of all your pet care wants and their needs and for them to be happy and comfortable in the process!
