I specialize in small, well matched groups and offer guided pack walks (up to 4 dogs) as well as private enrichment walks. I especially love working on leash skills, calm engagement, and helping dogs feel more confident out in the world. I’ve continued building my training knowledge by learning alongside seasoned, full-time trainers, and I bring that structure into everyday care.

Information Pam S. would like to know about your pet

I want to know your dog's personality! What are they motivated by, food, play, love? I want to know their energy level and potential allergies. Their anxiety level around new people, other dogs, and leash behavior. Senior Pups: Please let me know if they require special care. How they are on stairs, and how long their walks should be. Training: I want to know what you are working on with your dog. Although I won’t train your pet, I will follow your current protocol for consistency and training reinforcement. Rescue pups: Tell me if they’re shy, tell me what they need to be comfortable- a special place for their bed, to have their own space in my walk in closet, or maybe just a long trust walk before coming into my home. Right before you drop off your pup I'd like to know the last time they pooped and were walked and if they are ok running or if they might be too tired.

A typical day

A typical day is active, intentional, and really fun! We start with calm structure and a walk tailored to your dog’s energy level, sometimes a guided pack adventure, sometimes one-on-one enrichment if that’s a better fit. Throughout the day there’s a balance of movement, sniffing, light training reinforcement, and supervised social time (only with well-matched dogs). I mix in enrichment games, rest breaks, sun time in the yard, and lots of individual attention. My goal is for your pup to feel engaged, confident, and fulfilled, not overstimulated. They go home happy, relaxed, and pleasantly tired from a day that was both fun and thoughtfully structured.

Pam was very professional and knowledgeable. She was super responsive and supportive to our dog feeling a little anxious about being away from us. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her.

Pam was awesome! She clearly loves dogs and is very knowledgeable about their needs and behaviors. My dog loves people but lacks confidence when it comes to other dogs. She offered some tips and worked with my girl to build her confidence during their walks. Pam took great care of my pup and we’ll definitely be working with her again!

This was my first experience using Rover, and I wish I could give Pam MORE than 5 stars! She clearly knows what she is doing and loves dogs. I have two small cavapoos, one of which can be reactive in unfamiliar situations with new people and pets. With Pam's guidance and cues, I was able to leave my two fur babies in her care without any issue. She sent pics and videos almost immediately, and I could tell they were in capable hands and having a good time. In addition, I really appreciated her being flexible on the pick up time as an unexpected family need caused me to be over 30 minutes later than originally planned. I will definitely use Pam again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for outstanding dog care!
