Welcome to Pawsome Dawg Acres! We’ve raised, trained & loved dogs for 20+ years. We have a well balanced dog pack eager to teach & love your pooches like our own. Hubby is a retired police officer with K-9 training skills. Unlike a traditional kennel or doggy day care, here your dog feels at home in a house with a fenced yard, dog friends, and no extra charges like “play time” or photos/videos. You’ll get regular updates on your pet so you can enjoy your vacation or life events worry free!

Pam and Michael, and their pack of sweet pups are absolutely wonderful! I did a meet and greet prior to my first booking. Michael introduced me and my dog to their dogs to ensure all the dogs were safe and completely comfortable together. And I got to know Pam and Michael! If you’re anything like me, getting ready to go on a trip and getting things together always seems to be a bit hurried and stressful despite checklists and packing lists. I will still inevitably forget something. I arrived at Pam and Michael’s realizing I forgot green beans (filler food for my always-hungry “big boned” Golden Retriever who is on a personal weight loss journey). Pam said it wasn’t a problem and she thought she had a bag of frozen green beans and she was going to the store anyway and could grab some. I also forgot my dog’s leash! Again, Pam had an extra one and saved the day! Don’t ask how I get anywhere without assistance. It baffles me, too. She sent me on my way with piece of mind that my Golden Girl was in good hands. I got pictures and updates while I was gone that left me totally at ease knowing she was safe and having fun. I booked with them again recently and would definitely recommend them for your fur babies, too.

Gage always enjoys his stays with Pam & Mike! He loves hanging out with the other dogs and he comes home very tired. We can tell he is well cared for while we are away.
Daisy’s stay with Pam and Mike was perfect! Pam sent us picture and video updates every day and it was clear that Daisy felt right at home with Pam, Mike and their dogs! Would 100% rebook with them. They are truly dog lovers and will treat your dog as their own.

Schedule
One or both of us are home all day every day so your pet is always supervised & getting lots of exercise, attention, and training if needed. If your dog prefers a crate as a safe/calm place, we have several sizes.

We have 3+ acres of land with over 1.5 fenced, as well as a stream & open field for pups that are ok off leash.

A typical day
Your pup will have a huge, fenced yard to run and play all day, catch a nap, and do it all over again. A tired dog is a good dog! We also have an adjacent paddock with 2 mini horses, chickens and free-range bunnies, so plenty of scents for sniffing adventure and stimulation.
