One Dog at a Time | Home FT + Yard

Hi, I’m Pam! I only board one guest dog at a time, so your pup gets lots of individual attention in a calm home environment. My own dog, Butter, is a friendly 8 lb Pomeranian who loves having a playmate. I’ve had dogs for more than 25 years and raised my chiweenie, Cannoli, through age 17. Caring for her gave me hands-on experience with senior dogs, medications, and the extra patience and attention older dogs sometimes need. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day for companionship, playtime, walks and potty breaks. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel less like they’re being boarded and more like they’re staying in a second home.

Pam is amazing. Wow. She will be my go-to from this day forward. No doubt. Teddy is my child— I’m very careful and particular about who I leave him with. It’s rare I do leave him. Finding Pam is a game-changer for my ability to travel. I found myself able to relax and not worry and that is such a gift. She’s an amazing communicator and Teddy loved her dog Butter. Dream come true. Highly recommend. Thanks Pam!

Pam took care of our elder Bichpoo while my family went on vacation. She is very caring and thoughtful, and her dog got along with our dog. She sent lots of pictures, gave nice updates, and gave us piece of mind. Bernie was in great shape when we picked him up.

Pam is reliable, attentive, and genuinely loves animals, which is obvious from the moment you meet her. I always have complete peace of mind knowing a pup is in her care because she treats them like they're her own. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pam to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and caring sitter. Your pets will be in wonderful hands.

Schedule

Dogs have always been part of my life and family. I raised my chiweenie, Cannoli, through age 17, and I’m still the person who stops to help a stray dog wandering the neighborhood get safely home. These days, Butter, my friendly 8 lb Pomeranian, is part of our family too. I work from home, which means your dog gets plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, potty breaks, playtime and plenty of hanging out together. I offer both overnight boarding and daytime care, with drop-off and pick-up generally available between 7am–9pm.

A typical day

A typical day includes morning, midday and afternoon walks, an evening potty break, and plenty of play and downtime in between. Dogs can enjoy our fully fenced yard, play with Butter, or relax inside when they’re ready for some downtime. I follow each dog’s normal feeding and medication schedule and send photo and video updates during their stay.

Before booking, I’d love to know about your dog’s personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, medications and any special needs. Since Butter will be their only canine housemate, your dog must be comfortable and friendly with another small dog. Please also let me know about separation anxiety, resource guarding, escape behavior, reactivity or anything else that will help me make sure my home is a safe and comfortable fit.
