Island girl missing her pups!
I am from Barbados where I lived for 14 years. My household always had cats and dogs, about 5 dogs and 6 cats. When my family and I had to move to DC 8 years ago unfortunately we could not bring all our animals, especially with such a difference in weather. We gave our dogs to a neighbor with young kids and they love it. However, I do miss them all the time and that is why I joined Rover. I heard this is a great way to spend time with animals and enjoy their company. I am also a very active and energetic person so I love to go out for walks and jogs, so what better way then to do it with a furry friend. I live in Chelsea where there are many dog parks nearby.

Paloma is a great dog sitter! Moose is always so excited to see her which just goes to show how much he loves hanging with her. Paloma is also very communicative and sends great daily update photos which always brighten our day when we're missing our little guy.

Paloma was amazing with Oyster! Oyster stayed with her and had the best time and was well looked after. She took him for nice long walks, played with him at the park (which is his favorite) and sent many updates. We could see how happy Oyster was with her, he was sad to say goodbye at the end! We would use Paloma again and recommend her!

Paloma was great with Arthur and was very sensitive to his needs! He was a bit nervous and curious in a new place, and she made sure to take him on walks and make him comfortable during his stay.
She was amazing - came through for us last minute on a holiday weekend and Okra loved her! Thanks for dealing with our strong and strong-willed pup!
