Pet care experience
Pet care by an Animal Pro
What sets me apart is the range of hands‑on experience I bring to caring for animals. I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for large and small animals, a zoological educator handling and training animal ambassadors, and a marine mammal research scientist. I’m now a research scientist at the aquarium, and I use that same attention to detail and understanding of animal behavior when caring for pets. I’m comfortable supporting puppies through early training, monitoring subtle behavior changes, and providing gentle, patient care for senior pets. I’m also a long‑time dog and cat lover who volunteers with the Atlanta Humane Society, so compassionate, individualized care is always my priority. Your pets get a sitter who is not only loving, but deeply experienced and trained to keep them safe, happy, and understood.

Ratings and reviews
Paige was great. She communicated multiple times a day and sent pictures as well. She made sure that my dog had everything he needed and didn’t miss a beat without me there. Will definitely use her again

Paige gave us peace of mind while we were away. Responsive, kind and capable. We highly recommend.

Paige was great! We felt very comfortable with her caring for our dog Millie and she sent us daily photos of her.

10/10 sitter! I was gone for a month in Asia and I was extremely nervous to leave my dog with anyone that long and that far away. My dog is a little complicated but Paige was super reassuring. She took amazing care of cider and gave me photos and updates on how she was doing. She was super accommodating when something went wrong with my flight too. I cannot recommend someone more. I only have positive things to say

Paige was great! We loved getting the daily updates and photos. Would absolutely book again!

Paige is amazing. She took great care of JC. She kept me updated with pictures throughout her stay and made sure JC was comfortable. I will be sure to book with her again!

I have a flexible schedule and weekends free for anyone needing a weekend trip. The nice part of my job is being able to move my work around to meet any animal care needs.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets get a calm, safe, and structured environment where their routine comes first. I make sure they have plenty of playtime, enrichment, potty breaks, and quiet time depending on their needs. I pay close attention to behavior and comfort levels so every pet feels secure and understood. In a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine consistent. I handle feeding, walks, medication (if needed), training reinforcement, and lots of one‑on‑one attention. With my background as a vet tech, zoological educator, and research scientist, I’m comfortable supporting puppies, seniors, and pets who may need a little extra patience or observation. My goal is always the same: keep your pets happy, relaxed, and cared for just the way you would.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy in ways that match their personality and energy level. For dogs, that might include walks, sniff‑aris, fetch, puzzle toys, enrichment games, or practicing basic training cues. For cats, I focus on play sessions, interactive toys, window watching, and creating calm, comfortable spaces where they feel safe. Because of my background in animal behavior and training, I’m great at reading what each pet enjoys—whether that’s high‑energy play, gentle enrichment, or simply relaxing with a trusted human nearby. My goal is always to make their time with me fun, stimulating, and tailored to their needs.

- It’s important for me to know anything that helps your pet feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I always appreciate details about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any quirks or fears they may have. If your pet has medical needs, allergies, mobility limitations, or is on medication, that’s helpful to know ahead of time as well. I also like to understand how your pet interacts with new people, other animals, and different environments so I can tailor my care to their comfort level. The more I know about your pet’s personality and preferences, the better I can make their time with me feel like home.
