Pet care experience
I’ve had 2 dogs and looked after many. My current dog is a rescue and I’ve trained her myself, after learning how to care for her. She is bad with men after her previous owner abused her, but knowing that dogs take time to trust we eventually broke down her barriers with my dad and now he’s one of her favourite people! ❤️ I am very active and like to get out as I am very hyperactive, although it just hasn’t been the same without a dog.

Paige is an animal lover, she enjoys nothing better than taking her dog for a walk and playing games with her. She finds her separation from her dog extremely difficult, living away at university.

Looking after a dog in a home means feeding them, making sure they have water, having enrichment time with them if they need it! (My dog certainly does) Also taking them out for the toilet is also important

Their temperament, how energetic they are, if they don’t like other dogs/people/children. I know all dogs can have bad experiences with a certain thing and struggle with it for the rest of their life, my old springer collie was afraid of all dogs for example!
A typical day
Near my house, I would love to go to jesmond dene or town moor. I’m great with all sizes of dogs, so if I have to play tug of war with a large dog I love the challenge! Playing fetch and trying to get dogs to learn tricks is great fun.

Availability
I’ve currently just finished my masters degree. I am currently unemployed and looking for work. This would be a great way to spend my time and a good excuse to get out and about!
