Safety, trust & environment
In understanding each pet's needs are different, I ask the pet parents: 1) what the feeding/med schedule is; 2) any on and off leash safety requirements; 3) if there is any reactivity to kids/other animals for walks; 4) and any yard rules are for my services. I am coming into your home and want to make sure your pets schedule/rules stay the same, as if you were there caring for them yourself at that time! It makes you peace of mind and lets your pet feel the most comfortable with me.
Information Paige P. would like to know about your pet
First, I need to know any specials needs, medications, and any behavioral triggers they may have (ex. food aggression, tugs and runs after squirrels, doesn't like kids, get afraid and may bolt from regular outside noises on walks, has a history of abuse so many react to x kind of person or thing, ect.). After that, the regular information of whatever service you have books should be enough for a smooth and worry free time with me!
A typical day
I aim to keep their schedule and routines as close to a typical day they'd have with you at home as possible. It helps them feel less stressed.

Pet care experience
I do work 8am to 430pm Weekdays and can only do drop ins at 12pm if you're close to my work. Since I own a cat, so I travel back and forth to my home for a small time in the evenings to feed and play with Archie. With sits over long periods of time, that back and forth commute can be a bit much. Therefore, for longer stays (4 days plus+) I try to book folks closer to my home with a commute shorter than 15 min to your house. If you're too far away for an extended stay, I do recommend folks I know and trust on rover who may be a better fit! *Not afraid of big dogs, would love to watch any breed! My fur babies are my children, so treating your baby with care is highly important to me! I have a ton of experience taking care of animals with specials needs, elderly, and pets who need extra care (ex. reactive or anxious pets with traumatic histories). Not only was I raised with pets, but I volunteered at pet shelters throughout my adult life. I've always cared for family members and friends pets, so moving to an app like this made a lot of sense. Overall, I know what it takes to be kind, patient, and able to meet the needs of any pet.
Reviews
Paige is amazing. Highly recommend.

Paige was incredible! They hopped in super last minute and were able to stop in and take care of my pup after a sitter canceled. They followed all directions and was very patient with our boy in a situation that was new for him. Could not recommend enough!

Paige is wonderful! They took care of our dogs and cats beautifully and always made sure to send up a pic throughout their time house sitting. Paige is also a VERY solid communicator which is always appreciated! 1000/10 recommend!

Always the best!
