Work from home pet parent

Hi, my name is Paige, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds! I was a psychology graduate with a concentration in animal behavior from Kennesaw State. I have experience sitting up to 4 dogs at the same time for extended periods. I started on Rover in 2013, but took a break for a while and now I’m back! I work full time from home as a travel planner, but have a flexible schedule, as does my husband. My husband, Zak, and I have 5 year old *very* friendly and active Labradoodle, Duncan. He loves playing and making new friends. We sadly recently lost our sweet kitty in July 2024. Why I love dog sitting I was born into a home with a dog and had dogs until I was about 7 and then had cats starting in 3rd grade. Growing up I always loved being around pets and interacting with them. When I was in college I started sitting in my free time and loved being able to be around dogs again. When I got a full time job I wasn’t able to sit anymore, but have recently decided to get back into it. As a travel planner and enthusiast I know how difficult it can be to trust someone else with your pets, so I hope I can put your mind at ease if you ever have to go away without them!

Safety, trust & environment

With a flexible schedule and working from home I have the ability to adapt to a schedule that works for you and your pup. We don't have kids, so our pets are our kids and we would do anything to make them comfortable! We try to approach every situation with love and care, even when accidents happen.

Paige was great for checking on and walking Bruiser! She communicated well and was always prompt. It sounds like Bruiser really enjoyed her visits!

Paige was quick to reply to my messages and set up was a breeze. She does a great job of taking care of my dog and would recommend highly.

Schedule

I work full time from home and my husband has a flexible work schedule. We generally schedule our days around our dogs schedule and plan to go out frequently. We usually do a long walk in the morning and at night and shorter potty breaks throughout the day.

Your dog is ideally great on a leash and can be trusted to be left home for a bit, if needed. Must be friendly around all other dogs, as we do have a good amount in our neighborhood. Our dog is pretty big, so yours should be ok with larger and active dogs.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
