Pet care experience

From a young age I have always had a love for animals. At age 11 I got my first puppy, a Great Dane named Lucy. Lucy ended up having severe reactivity towards other dogs. Through her I quickly realized I had a passion and natural talent for dog training and soon decided to pursue a career in the training field. I have dabbled in many sports such as flyball, agility, rally, nosework, disc, and even some lure coursing! I rescued a dog of my very own in 2014, a very anxious, high energy, one year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Charles. I didn't give up on Charlie, and through training, lots of structure in his daily outings, and patience, Charlie is still my beloved companion years later. I learnt so much through Charlie, and I believe strongly that the best way to have a healthy, happy dog is through a balance of exercise, enrichment, training, and a positive bond with their owner, and hope to help people enjoy each and everyday with their canine friends! I specifically love specifically to work with German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes, as a “Shepherd Person” myself and have lots of experience with large, strong, and reactive dogs. My Resume Includes: -NESDECA Certified Detection Dog Team/Handler -12+ Years of dog training and walking experience -Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT, PCTIA Certified, Good Dog Academy) -Graduate of Holly and Hugo Academy's Animal Psychology, Pet Adoption, Pet Nutrition, Animal Training and Pet Sitting, and Dog Grooming courses -Taken Dr Ian Dunbar's Crucial Concepts in Dog behaviour and Training (Over 10 hours of lecture) -Senior Trainer at SpiritDog Training

Paige has a ton of experience training, walking, and caring for a huge variety of client dogs! She treats any animal in her care as if they were family. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to leave any of my beloved pets in her loving and knowledgeable care (and THAT'S saying something!). Paige's love of dogs as well as extensive pet care experience makes them someone you can leave your dog with confidently, knowing that they will know what to do to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and having a great time. Thank you for the amazing work you do with dogs!

Paige has cared for my dog Gracie while we were on vacation and for extra walks when needed. Gracie has some behavioural and medical needs and I trust Paige 100% to keep her safe, happy and to continue all the training we have done while we are away. Gracie absolutely adores Paige and is always over the moon to see her special friend.

Paige is truly an incredible pet sitter and walker! I trust her with my two high level sport dogs. She always has their best interest at heart. She is very knowledgeable and responsible. I don’t trust a lot of people at all with my dogs so the fact I trust her is huge.
