Pet care experience

Happy hops and ear flops pet care

I’ve been offering walking and running services for over eight years and have experience caring for pets of all ages, including puppies, seniors, and animals with special needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and adapting to each pet’s individual abilities and energy levels. I also have a soft spot for rescue pets — my own dog, Cassian, has three legs, so our walks are more like joyful hops and ear flops! That experience has given me a lot of patience, creativity, and empathy when caring for animals who need a little extra understanding. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, or needs special care, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and part of the pack.

Paige watched our 2 doggies for us when we were in the hospital having our baby. She was so amazing. Great communication, lots of pictures and followed all our instructions to a T. She made what was a stressful time in our lives, the easiest thing for us while we were away. 10/10 recommend her! Will be using her again.

Schedule

I’m a full-time student finishing my online degree in Biology, which gives me a flexible schedule to spend quality time with your pets. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and feedings in the afternoons and evenings, and I also offer house and pet sitting for longer stays. As a runner, I love taking high-energy dogs out for runs or active walks to help them burn off energy and stay happy. Caring for animals is a fun and a great way to stay active while giving pets the attention they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment

Because my own dog, Cass, is handicapped and has severe food allergies, I’m very mindful about creating a safe, comfortable, and attentive environment for every pet I care for. I understand the importance of routines, clean spaces, and careful supervision, especially for pets with special needs or dietary restrictions. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I make sure they feel secure, loved, and at ease. I take the time to get to know each animal’s personality and needs, providing gentle structure, plenty of affection, and the same level of care I give my own dog.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day starts with a happy greeting and a walk or playtime. I make sure your pets get fed on schedule and have plenty of snuggles and attention throughout the day. I like to keep their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. Depending on their energy level, we might go for another walk, have a little quiet time with cuddles, or practice simple tricks for treats. I love to play ball or fetch with dogs and give lots of brushies! I use funny voices to keep pets excited and engaged. I also do little photo shoots to send updates to pet mom and dad. I make sure every pet feels loved, entertained, and part of the family and make sure every pet parent has peace of mind.

Before caring for any pet, I like to know a few important details so I can keep their routine as normal and comforting as possible. Things like their feeding and walk schedule, favorite toys or games, and how they tend to react to new people or other animals are super helpful. I also like to know about any health concerns, allergies, or medications, as well as the cues or commands they know so I can communicate just like you do. It’s also great to know any household rules or training boundaries, plus your vet’s contact information and an emergency backup contact just in case. Every pet is unique, and the more I know, the more I can make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away.
