About Paige B.
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
Because I can work remotely, I thankfully have the freedom to maintain whatever routine you have put in place with your animal. Usually, I stay in the client's home and maintain as much normalcy in an animal's day-to-day as possible. Examples in the past have included scheduled walks at set times throughout the day, daily scheduled training if actively correctly behaviors, incorporating plenty of play time, and stimulation walks/outings such as going outside in dog-friendly environments (beaches, cafes, breweries, etc.). Outdoor or stimulation activities are always on-leash, approved ahead of time with the owner, and done usually only after the first day or so of sitting so I have time to build a trusting relationship with a dog.
Information Paige B. would like to know about your pet
Ahead of my stay, I like to get to know an owner's daily routine with their dog with as much detail as possible. I find when dogs are able to stick to their normal routine, it eases the stress of not having their owners around. This is especially true for dogs with separation anxiety and dogs in active training or behavior correction.
A typical day
I love to take dogs outside as often as I'm able, to give them plenty stimulation and daily exercise. This includes taking them to dog-friendly parks, beaches, local trails like Douglas Preserve, cafes, and breweries. When at home, I also dedicate plenty of play time!

Dog sitter available all summer!
Pet care experience
I have been the designated dog and house sitter for friends and family for about 10 years. I have experience watching senior dogs, puppies in training (as young as 12 weeks), larger breeds such as pitbulls and german shepherds, and reactive dogs. While I don't have professional training, I have gained much experience over the years in animal behavior. I have been the only non-relative trusted by a few close friends to watch their dogs with severe separation anxiety. I work with owners ahead of their departure to learn everything I can to ensure a stress-free transition and make sure their animals are as comfortable, relaxed, entertained, and loved as possible in their owners' absence!
Reviews
Paige watched my 5-year-old pittie for 1 week while I was away on vacation. She provided excellent care and frequent updates with pictures, so I knew she was having the best time. My dog has slight reactivity to other dogs and is very scared of loud noises, but Paige handled her perfectly and gave her all the time and attention she needed. I highly recommend Paige as a pet sitter!
Paige is the best! We have an 8 year old dog who has severe separation anxiety, which makes going away for vacations difficult. Paige recently watched our dog for two weeks, at our house, and when we got back it was like we had just gone to the store. Out dog was so relaxed! Paige is so diligent about making sure your dog’s needs are met and goes out if her way to make sure she is doing everything exactly what you want, when you want it and how you want it. We cannot recommend her enough!
