Work-from-home pet-lover!
I work from home in HR for a national telecommunications company, and my apartment is less than a block away from the South Slope Dog Run. I’m a single father with joint custody of a 9-year old daughter; if she’s around, your pet will be showered with even more attention and affection — bonus! I had a dog during my college years (an Australian Shepherd named Lady), and grew up with a bunch of cats. I have a soft spot for pit bulls and Hemingway cats, but otherwise don’t discriminate. I’ve been called on to pet-sit for friends, and I’ve done so in both my home and in theirs. With dogs, this entails letting them out and/or taking them for walks — I work with owners to determine the best plan/approach, and am happy to accommodate special requests. With cats, this entails feeding them, changing their water, and making sure the litter box is kept clean; as with dogs, I am happy to accommodate special requests. Because I work remotely, I can work essentially anywhere as long as I have access to high-speed internet; for this reason, I am happy to pet-sit in my home or yours.

Pacts was, once again, an amazing sitter. This was the longest we had left Jay with anyone so we were naturally, a little nervous. Pacts was great at communicating before and during the trip. Asking questions beforehand that we didn’t think about and putting us at ease. During the trip, Jay was incredibly well looked after and, from the multiple photos and videos, had a great time. We will highly recommend him to anyone and would love to set up more visits him again in the future!

Home characteristics
A typical day
As mentioned above, I live very close to the South Slope Dog Run, and additionally Prospect Park is a 15-minute walk away. I jog occasionally, and would be happy to run with your dog. I also enjoy playing fetch, and can reinforce basic obedience training (sit, stay, heel, etc.).
