I’m an independent contractor, so I have a pretty flexible schedule throughout the day. My work meetings are usually short (around an hour or less) and spread out, which makes it easy for me to plan walks and visits consistently. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks, and I can usually accommodate last-minute requests if needed.

I keep things simple: your dog’s safety, comfort, and routine come first. In your home: I stick closely to whatever routine your dog is used to so things feel normal and low-stress. I follow instructions carefully (feeding, meds, training cues, etc.) and I’m always mindful about doors, gates, and anything that could put a dog at risk. Walks are always controlled and intentional. I pay attention to surroundings, other dogs, and your dog’s behavior the whole time. Some dogs need to burn energy, others just want a steady pace — I adjust to what’s best for them. I’ve spent a lot of time with high-energy breeds, puppies, and rescues, so I’m comfortable handling different personalities and knowing when a dog needs structure vs. space. You’ll get updates and photos so you always know how things went. I’m also easy to reach if anything comes up. I’m respectful, clean, and make sure everything’s locked up and left the way you expect.

My wife and I currently have a Catahoula puppy named Buck who’s learning fast and keeping us on our toes. Before that, we raised an incredible dog named Monday — a true “supermutt” mix (Catahoula, tree-walking coonhound, Great Pyrenees, and more). She came with her challenges early on, but through consistent training and patience, she grew into one of the most loyal, gentle companions I’ve ever known. That experience taught me a lot about working with dogs who need structure, attention, and trust-building — not just a quick walk around the block. We also have a rescue mix (Border Collie / Heeler / Pitbull) who we found in an abandoned gas station in Arkansas, so I’m very comfortable with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds — including high-energy breeds and those still building confidence.
