Owen has loved and connected with animals since he was little. He grew up with a cat and a dog at home and spent a lot of time on the farm with his grandmother, who you might mistake for Snow White because of the way animals gravitate toward her. We’ve always called Owen the animal whisperer—not only with dogs, but with all kinds of animals his grandmother cared for when they were injured, orphaned, or needed extra attention. From kittens and squirrels to bunnies and birds, she could always count on Owen to be gentle, patient, and attentive. Owen is a dependable and focused young man.
