I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 8. We grew up with lots of pets, had 4 dogs overall, one lived up until she was 17. Recently, in 2020, I rescued a Siberian husky who had dog reactivity due to being neglected and not being socialized with other dogs. She was sadly just used for breeding. With our love and patience and of course our amazing trainer's help and guidance now Mika socializes with lots of dogs and she has the life she deserved to have right from the start! This has given me a whole new level of experience with a dog which I am grateful for, I love dogs, I love training them, teaching them new things to the best of my ability, looking after them, taking them out for long walks, and playing in the garden. I am not a trainer but I would have loved to be (maybe in another life :). I have looked after my best friends Labrador (our dearest Marley) on several occasions and absolutely loved it. Seeing how hard it is to find people to look after our furry friends I realized I could offer help to more than friends and family. We live right next to a beautiful big park where we take our dog on walks every morning for an hour and a half, then two more shorter (30mins) walks in the afternoon and in the evenings. If Mika (our husky) gets on with your dog, I see no reason for us not to host them :) I am currently working from home and occasionally from the office. I have been hosting dogs for about 3 years now offering a safe loving home to people's pets when they need it. I have a fenced garden and a beautiful doggy to keep your dog company. The garden is a good size for two dogs, hence I will only be caring for 1 other dog at a time.

Dear readers, Ovgu is the BEST!!! That is all I can really say. But obvs have to say why… She has taken such good care of our boy many times. Most recently he became ill and Ovgu was totally on top of it with quick decision making, love and empathy. She kept us up to date all the time and kept me calm! Her dog is so so lovely too and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thankyou Ovgu 😌
Very happy with Ovgu, truly a home away from home! March was looked after and loved as she is at home with us. Ovgu's dog, Mika, is lovely and March and her became good friends. I could not asked for a better holiday for March and 100% would take her again with Ovgu. Highly recomended!

First off, a massive thank you to Ovgu and James for looking after Shadow, my 3 year old Siberian Husky. The love and care shown has been amazing and Shadow was made to feel right at home. We met a few times prior to a 1 week boarding whilst I was away to get Shadow used to Ovgu, James and Mika (another Husky!). This gave me complete piece of mind that Shadow was in good hands (and good paws with Mika). Ovgu will definitely be my dog sitter for all future care needs and we will even continue to meet for walks as the dogs love each others company and play. Thank you again Ovgu, James and Mika... we will see you for more walkies soon! Mus and Shadow x

Schedule
I normally work full-time Sunday to Thursdays, but I have the whole summer off and if I have a booking I can arrange my shifts around it. Soon I will be going part-time at work to be able to care for animals more.

I have a fenced garden and a beautiful doggy to keep your dog company. The garden is a good size for two dogs, hence I will only be caring for 1 other dog at a time.

A typical day
I love long walks, so your dog will be well exercised that's for sure :) I live near very beautiful parks and i am experienced in using longlines as well if you don't want your dog to be off-leash :) We used a 30meter longline for Mika for over 8 months so kind of an expert on that. We play loads in the garden as well and do whatever will make them happy!
