Hi pet parents! We are Oscar and Jessi, a passionate, animal-loving couple dedicated to giving your dogs a warm, safe, and attentive home away from home. Back in Mexico, I (Oscar) worked as a veterinarian. Even though I haven't actively practiced clinical medicine for nearly seven years, my deep understanding of animal behavior, wellness, and body language remains central to how I care for pets. My wife, Jessi, was my trusted veterinary assistant for years at our clinic. Working together for so long shaped us into an incredible, synchronized team that understands exactly what pets need to feel safe, loved, and understood. We have a profound love for animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—from playful energetic pups to shy, sensitive, or senior dogs who need gentle patience. Because we operate as a team, your dogs receive double the attention, care, and affection. Whether administering oral medication, following specialized routines, or simply giving reassuring belly rubs, we treat every dog as a cherished member of our own family. Au Mexique, j'ai (Oscar) exercé comme vétérinaire. Bien que je ne pratique plus la médecine clinique depuis près de sept ans, ma compréhension approfondie du comportement et du bien-être animal guide chaque interaction avec vos compagnons. Mon épouse Jessi a longtemps été mon assistante à la clinique; ensemble, nous formons un duo parfaitement synchronisé qui sait exactement comment rassurer et choyer chaque animal, qu'il soit très actif, timide ou vieillissant. Vos compagnons recevront le double d'attention, d'amour et de présence bienveillante!

Jessi and Oscar did a wonderful bath and haircut for my 10-month-old Goldendoodle, Russel. They also dog-sat him for the entire day while I was at work, took him out for walks, and treated him so well! I recently had to relocate to Toronto for work, but I still cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking for someone who will truly love and care for your fur baby, they are definitely the best choice!

Schedule
We both work full-time from home and run our own business, meaning our schedule is 100% flexible and managed entirely by us. Because we control our daily routines, we can easily adapt our day around your dog’s specific needs—whether that means midday potty breaks, morning and afternoon walks, scheduled feeding times, or playtime. Your pet will rarely be left alone, as at least one of us is consistently home to provide companionship, supervision, and plenty of love throughout the entire day. Nous travaillons tous les deux à temps plein de la maison et gérons notre propre entreprise, ce qui rend notre horaire entièrement flexible et sous notre contrôle. Nous adaptons volontiers notre journée au rythme spécifique de votre chien : sorties fréquentes, repas à heures fixes, promenades et moments de jeu. Votre compagnon ne sera pratiquement jamais seul, car l'un de nous est toujours présent à la maison pour lui offrir une surveillance attentive, de la compagnie et beaucoup d'affection tout au long de la journée.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment surrounded by beautiful green walking paths. Safety is our top priority: although our building is very secure, we have installed a baby safety gate at the front door to guarantee that no pet can ever slip into the hallway when doors open. We share our home with two senior small rescue dogs: Ottho (14): A sweet, toothless senior Yorkie with low vision who navigates by scent. He can be a little grumpy with newcomers at first, but he is completely harmless and mostly enjoys snoozing. Lu: A rescued Chihuahua with a cat-like personality. Because of past trauma, she is cautious around strangers, but she coexists peacefully with other dogs as long as they respect her personal space. Given our dogs' sensitive backgrounds and our veterinary experience, we are experts at reading canine body language, managing slow introductions, and ensuring every dog feels safe without forced interactions. Outside, the area is packed with great walking trails. We usually time our walks to avoid "rush hour" to keep outings calm and stress-free, though we are happy to adapt our walking routine to your dog’s social preferences. Nous vivons dans un appartement accueillant pour les animaux, entouré de magnifiques sentiers pédestres. La sécurité est notre priorité absolue : bien que l'immeuble soit très sécuritaire, nous avons installé une barrière de sécurité à l'entrée afin d'empêcher toute fugue impromptue vers le couloir. Nous partageons notre foyer avec deux petits chiens rescapés : Ottho (14 ans) : Un aîné sans dents et malvoyant qui se fie à son odorat. Un brin grognon au début, il est totalement inoffensif et passe ses journées à dormir paisiblement. Lu : Une petite Chihuahua rescapée au tempérament félin. Réservée en raison de son passé difficile, elle tolère très bien les autres chiens dès lors que son espace personnel est respecté. Grâce à notre parcours en clinique vétérinaire, nous maîtrisons parfaitement les présentations en douceur et le respect des limites de chaque animal. À l'extérieur, nous privilégions les promenades en dehors des heures d'affluence pour des sorties calmes et sereines, tout en adaptant volontiers ce rythme selon la sociabilité de votre chien.
