While I grew up with dogs throughout my adolescence, I also have years of experience working as a pet sitter and dog walker. I spent years working at a dog daycare and veterinary clinic as a technician, and prior to that was working as a pet sitter in community. I have always had a passion and immense love for animals , and deeply enjoy being able to take on work that allows me to spend time with them. My own dog, Kaia (the Golden Retriever puppy pictured), means the world to me so I know first hand how nerve wracking it can be to leave your dog in the care of someone else. I will provide your dog with patience, kindness, compassion, and fun, and hopefully be able to ease some of those worries!

Orla watched my pup Elle while we were visiting Newport so we could go out on the town for dinner. Orla was so prompt and great with Elle! Next time we are in town we definitely will be booking Orla!
Orla was communicative, responsible and kind in her caring for our two cats. We definitely recommend her and will book her again for future trips!

I have a very flexible schedule with a lot of free time that allows me to prioritize Rover. I can usually work around your schedule to walk your pup whenever needed!

Growing up around dogs & having worked with them, I feel I have a good understanding of safety and the precautions necessary to ensure it. I am very patient and understand that each dog is unique and will have its own individual traits and needs. Working with dogs is such a passion of mine which allows me to bring lots of enthusiasm and joy into the job.

A typical day
I love to walk dogs and rent sniff spots to allow them time to explore and just be dogs within the safety of a fully fenced area. During drop-in visits, I always make sure to spend quality time with the pet I’m watching and give them extra love & attention!
