Information Ori A. would like to know about your pet

Please provide me with all the relevant information in writing. I will follow your instructions carefully and provide updates on a daily basis, if that’s ok. Also, please feel free to ask me anything.. I understand why leaving your pets overnight can be stressful.

A typical day

Whenever I’m home with a pet, I just try and enjoy our time together. I connect by encouraging playfulness, genuinely caring about their needs, and by maintaining a friendly body-language and tone. Several repeat-stay dogs that have gained my trust, and were given permission by their pet parents, enjoy off-leash playtime at nearby parks. If that’s not the case yet, we’ll have fun exploring the neighborhood “hand-in hand”! Please notice that I prefer walking dogs by leashing them to a body-harness, in opposed to leashing them by their necks. If feasible - please provide me with their own harness & leash. During the drop-off day; in effort of minimizing the separation anxiety of that intense moment, I suggest that we all walk around a bit, and when the time seems right - say goodbye (or not), and then please allow your dog(s) the choice of continuing to walk with me in the other direction of which you’re headed, before you turn your back on us. I think that there is something about being the one to walk away which makes them feel better about the situation, and they should be familiar enough with me from the meet & greet to trustingly follow my lead at that moment. Please rest assured that I'll follow your exact instructions about everything - especially regarding food and medicine. Please provide me with their allotted food, medication (if needed), treats (if wanted), and favorite toys (if exists). I’m happy to share my food with pets who enjoy eating carrots, cucumbers, apples, bananas & cauliflowers as treats. I’ll also replenish their filtered drinking water at least once a day. At night, your pets are welcome to sleep wherever they prefer.. My bedroom door is always open. Just kidding - it’s a 500sqft studio. I wake up at 7am, and I enjoy starting the day with a nice morning walk and then breakfast. I’m fine with doing it the other way around whenever I’m hosting a pet that’s used to eating before the morning walk!

Attentive Dogwalker/Pet Caregiver

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m hoping to become your reliable pet-pal! I will gladly put my phone away (especially during dog walks) and be fully present. I truly enjoy following animal’s wishes - whether it’s a longer-than-usual tree sniff (while keeping dogs safe from eating stuff), or petting the cats for as long as they want to be pet… My mission is that your pets love our time spent together and then return to you in good health & high spirits.

Ori has been incredible to my sweet, nervous little gal. He was extra patient and gentle and completely brought her out of her shell by being consistent and going above and beyond! Thank you so much, Ori!!
