I minimum like to spend 30 minutes with any animal to be sure all of their needs are met however, if it looks like the animal wants more, I end up staying for an extra 10-15 minutes so the animal can also gain a level of comfortability with me. I like to leave knowing that the animal is cared for but more so content with the attention and love that they deserve to have every day.

Let me know if your dog has specific behaviors or if they are sensitive to other variables (ie. Hats, smell of cat, tug on clothing, ect). Let me know if the pet is special needs or has medication. I have worked with many dogs in the past on both these topics.
A typical day
I personally like to spend time getting to know the pet and learning what their favorite things are. From there I like to try new things that may be similar to what they really love while incorporating what they know they love.

Pet care experience
My experience comes from life. I’ve taken care of bunnies, reptiles, cats, and dogs. For dogs specifically, I worked at a doggy daycare before moving here, and before that, I watch many of my family friends' animals while they went camping or traveling. I have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs including Great Danes, senior cats and dogs along with lots of puppies. I’ve also had a bit of training experience with puppies. As far as bunnies go, my roommate for a year has bunnies, and some friends from home do too. While living with my roommate, I’ve watched her bunnies many times while she was away. My best friend has reptiles that I’ve fed and taken care of as well. Since leaving the doggy daycare and moving, I have truly missed the joy of connecting and building bonds with animals, and there’s nothing like having the pet parents proud or happy with the work you’ve done.

Onnika is absolutely the best. My goldendoodle loves her. She went way above and beyond my highest expectations. Every visit, she sends short videos of what she and Daisy were up to during her visits (fetch, walks, feeding, etc). She also gave a longer video with her thoughts about the visit and just general report about how Daisy was doing. Very professional and trustworthy. I was so appreciative. I knew I had made the right choice with Onnika. I strongly recommend Onnika for your fur baby. She gets from me my highest commendation.
Onnika was AMAZING! I just got a new kitten and my other cat is still adjusting to that change and she took every step to make sure both of them not only felt comfortable but loved. She took both of their feelings into consideration and tried out different things to see what was working best for them and what seemed to make them the happiest. For an anxious cat mom who has never left her babies with anyone besides family/friends she was a life saver and sent so many pictures and videos that put my mind at ease. I recommend her SO much and will definitely be using her again in the future :)
Onnika did a great job with our 3yr old great dane. Despite his size and timmidness she was able to win him over and make sure all of his needs and wants were met (cuddles attention and medications) while giving us updates throughout the weekend. He had a blast playing and going on a walk. She even picked up his mess in the front yard which we really appreciated when we came home. 10/10 well be requesting again!
