I currently work part-time, so in the mornings I have time to walk my dog and do other activities like hiking or running. I like to run and hike with friends’ dogs that are hyper. I even take my pug on shady hikes whenever possible and he loves them.

I am very watchful and careful with my dog when I’m out and treat other dogs I walk as my own. You never know when a pup picks up something they shouldn’t be or tries to chase any critters in a busy area. I am always in alert mode!

A typical day
I usually take the dogs I walk to the Bay Trail, Stevens Creek Trail, Sanborn County Park, or Mission Peak. I think dogs get a lot of stimulation when they get exercise outdoors in natural areas.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around all types of animals most of my life. I like walking friends’ dogs (from hyper puppies to seniors). I love being outdoors with dogs as they are great adventure companions. I also have experience working with pets and wildlife in hospital settings which has taught me a lot about animal health and behavior. So, if you have a hyper dog that needs to let out some energy, or even an old timer that takes their time sniffing, I am the walker you need.

Omar was fantastic. He covered holiday care for our cats and on short notice too. Was friendly, flexible, and loves animals. Thanks to him our cats were able to have their lay of the land, play, and have a clean environment while I was abroad visiting family for the holidays. Thank you Omar!
Omar is incredible with our little cat, Cosmo! Our boy loves him and Omar is very attentive and communicative, letting us know how his litter is looking, if he’s eating alright, and if he seems comfortable/playful as normal. We get tons of photos every day, and we’ve noticed the care Omar puts into being in our home, too! Cosmo always has a fresh pot of cat grass planted after visits with Omar, and we notice litter vacuuming as well. Above and beyond for us!! If we can help it, Omar will always be our go-to for care.
Omar was AMAZING with my hyper energetic and overly excited pup. She is A LOT to handle and he was so patient and kind with her. From the start, he was willing to understand her triggers and reactivity and helped so much with walking her and keeping her training habits the same. Thank you again!
Omar did a great job! He communicated with us throughout our trip, sent pictures and videos, and was a good house guest. Our dog warmed up to him quickly - a testament to his care and kindness.
