[English below] Ich habe im vergangenen Jahr regelmäßig auf den Hund eines Freundes aufgepasst und dadurch bereits Erfahrung als Hundesitter gesammelt. Da ich im Homeoffice arbeite, kann ich sicherstellen, dass der Hund gut betreut ist und nicht lange allein bleiben muss. Außerdem bin ich gerne draußen unterwegs und freue mich über gemeinsame Spaziergänge und Zeit in der Natur. Over the past year, I’ve regularly looked after my friend’s dog, giving me hands-on experience as a dog sitter. Since I work from home, I can make sure the dog is well looked after and doesn’t have to spend long periods alone. I also genuinely enjoy being outdoors, going for walks, and spending time in nature.

Olufemi ist ein empathischer, herzlicher und freudseliger Hundesitter. Seit ca. 1 Jahr hilft er uns regelmäßig mit der Tagesbetreuung von unserer kleinen Sniffles (Gassigehen inklusive). Während des Dogsittings erhalten wir immer Foto- und Video-Updates, sodass wir immer sehen können, wie es der Kleinen geht. Beim Abholen ist Sniffles immer tiefenentspannt und gut gelaunt. :) Wichtiger Punkt: Olufemi stellt viele Fragen und möchte genau wissen, wie er am besten mit dem Hund umgehen soll. Es ist gar nicht so einfach eine:n vertrauenswürdige:n Dogsitter:in in Berlin zu finden, weshalb wir umso dankbarer sind, dass wir Olufemi gefunden haben. 100 % Empfehlung. --- Olufemi is an empathetic, warm-hearted, and cheerful dog sitter. For about a year now, he’s been helping us regularly with daycare for our little Sniffles (including walks). While he’s dog sitting, we always receive photo and video updates, so we can always see how our little one is doing. When we pick her up, Sniffles is always completely relaxed and in a good mood. :) Important note: Olufemi asks a lot of questions and wants to know exactly how best to interact with the dog. It’s not at all easy to find a trustworthy dog sitter in Berlin, which is why we’re all the more grateful that we found Olufemi. 100% recommended.
Olufemi is one of the most loving person I know, diligent, caring emphatic and intelligent. He always brings his 100 percent to any endeavor he undertakes and this includes his love for animals. He currently has 2 fish aquariums and the attention and care he gives them is amazing. Always making sure even when he is on holiday they are well taken care of. In the past he also loved coming over to pet sit my 2 cats. He has also pet sitted for a number of friends and most recently he is a pet sitter for a friend currently in Berlin. If anyone should be able to final become a pet family it is Femi. Honestly way overdue and I’m absolutely sure the pet he gets is going to receive all the love in the world.

[English below] Ich arbeite Vollzeit, aber komplett remote und mit flexiblen Arbeitszeiten, die ich problemlos um einen Hund herum gestalten kann. Ursprünglich komme ich aus Nigeria, habe 13 Jahre in China gelebt und bin 2023 nach Berlin gezogen. Ich spreche Englisch, Deutsch, Mandarin und Yoruba. Tiere waren eigentlich in jedem Lebensabschnitt Teil meines Alltags: die Katze meines Bruders, Hunde von Freunden, zwei Aquarien und jede Menge Pflanzen zu Hause. Ich bin aktiv und gehe ins Fitnessstudio, in den Chor und einmal im Monat zum Salsa. Trotzdem kann ich meinen Alltag problemlos an die Bedürfnisse eines Hundes anpassen. I work full-time but remote, with a flexible schedule I can easily build around a dog. I’m originally from Nigeria, spent 13 years in China, and moved to Berlin in 2023. I speak English, German, Mandarin and Yoruba. Pets have been part of every chapter: my brother’s cat, friends’ dogs, two aquariums, and a bunch of plants at home. I stay active, gym, choir, salsa once a month, but my day bends easily around the needs of the dog.

[English below] Ich lebe allein in einer 50 m² großen Wohnung, in der der Hund mit mir zusammenleben würde. Der Tiergarten ist direkt um die Ecke, sodass wir regelmäßig ins Grüne gehen können. Ich bin durch und durch ein Tiermensch. Ich habe selbst zwei Aquarien mit Fischen und bin außerdem stolzer Plant Dad! 🏳️🌈 I live alone in a 50sqm apartment, and that’s where the dog would stay with me. Tiergarten is right around the corner, so we can get out into nature regularly. I’m an animal person through and through. I personal have 2 aquariums with fish and I’m also a proud plant dad!
A typical day
[English below] Ich bin aktiv und passe mich gern an, was der Hund braucht. Wir können Spaziergänge durch die Nachbarschaft oder den Park machen, und wenn dein Hund viel Energie hat und das Wetter mitspielt, gehen wir auch laufen. An ruhigeren Tagen bleiben wir einfach zuhause und chillen zusammen. I’m active and happy to adjust to what the dog needs. We can do walks around the neighborhood or the park, and if your dog has a lot of energy and the weather’s good, we’ll go for runs too. On quieter days we just stay home and chill together.
