Pet care experience

Experienced, caring pet sitter 🐾

I’ve grown up around animals and have been caring for cats since I was 9 years old, so looking after pets has always been a big part of my life. I absolutely love getting to know their individual personalities and making sure they feel happy, comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I also have lots of experience looking after dogs. I’ve regularly pet-sat my sister’s sighthounds and my step-parents’ Border Terriers, so I’m comfortable with dogs with very different personalities, energy levels and needs — from walks and playtime to simply keeping them company and sticking to their normal routine. I’m particularly comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra attention. My family cats both needed medication twice a day, including one who had epilepsy, and one also required a special diet for her skin. I’m used to following feeding, medication and care instructions carefully and consistently. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pets and your home. I’m reliable, attentive and patient, and I’ll treat every pet as an individual — whether they want lots of cuddles and attention or need some time and space to get comfortable with me. I’m also always happy to send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away! 🐾

Ollie has regularly looked after our two border terriers - one 16 years old and the other very reactive and anxious. She's loves all animals and has shown such care and love for our two. I've seen here be prepared to sit on the sofa and continuously stroke our dog to ensure he's settled and reassured. She's always thought carefully about their needs and accommodated them, perhaps by walking them separately or playing with them in the garden. I couldn't recommend Ollie enough!

Couldn’t recommend Ollie enough! She was absolutely amazing looking after Missy and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Ollie kept me updated while I was away and it was clear Missy was really happy and comfortable with her. She also stayed at my house and was incredibly respectful of my home, leaving everything lovely and tidy. Such a positive experience from start to finish, I’d 100% trust Ollie to look after Missy again! 🥰🐾

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for Bailey and Jet. She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. It was the first time Bailey had been left with someone, so we were a little nervous, but she was brilliant with both of them and kept us updated throughout the weekend. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about them and treated them as if they were her own. Both Bailey and Jet were really happy and settled when we got home, which says everything! We wouldn’t hesitate to use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and reliable to look after their dogs. Thank you so much! 🐾

I can’t recommend Ollie highly enough! Ollie has been amazing with Bruce and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Bruce absolutely adores Ollie, and I always feel completely comfortable knowing he is in such caring, responsible hands. Ollie is reliable, attentive, and treats Bruce like one of their own. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust Ollie with Bruce again!

As Ollie’s mum, I can honestly say that animals have always been a huge part of her life. She has grown up surrounded by pets and has an enormous amount of empathy, patience and genuine love for animals. We have three cats at home, one of whom has epilepsy and requires medication every 12 hours. Since she was a teenager, Ollie has shared the responsibility of caring for him and giving his medication, so she completely understands how important it is to be reliable, attentive and consistent when an animal has additional needs. She is also a very devoted aunty to her sister’s two sighthounds and regularly looks after them when her sister is away. She’s confident around dogs, understands that every animal has its own personality and routine, and is incredibly gentle and patient with them. Ollie is one of the most compassionate people I know. She lives a plant-based lifestyle because of her love and concern for animals, and even her choice to complete a Master’s degree in Human Rights reflects how deeply she cares about the wellbeing of others. Most importantly, she is extremely responsible and trustworthy. I know how much faith it takes to leave a much-loved pet in somebody else’s care, and I genuinely couldn’t think of anyone I would trust more. She would treat someone else’s pet with exactly the same care, affection and attention she gives to our own.

Schedule

I work hybrid - remote, Monday and Friday at home, and Tuesday - Thursday in the office. My partner works from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so only Wednesdays we are not at home. Luckily my office is dog friendly - if your furry friend is a sociable animal they can come with me to my friendly office! Otherwise, we love to spend as much time with the animals as possible, giving them walks in the morning and evening, and lots of cuddles and playtime. My building has a pet friendly green area and I live close to Walthamstow wetlands, plenty of outdoor time for them.
