Before caring for a pet, I believe it is important to understand their individual needs, personality, and daily routine. I like to learn about each pet’s feeding schedule, favorite activities, comfort level, habits, and any special instructions from their owner. I want to know what makes them happy, whether they enjoy walks, playtime, enrichment activities, cuddles, or simply relaxing in their favorite spot. I also make sure to understand any medical needs, medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, and emergency contacts so I can provide safe and responsible care. Learning about a pet’s behavior, including fears, triggers, how they interact with people or other animals, and any safety concerns, helps me create a comfortable environment while their family is away. My goal is to keep pets feeling secure by maintaining their normal routine as much as possible while providing plenty of love, attention, exercise, and mental stimulation. I believe every pet is unique, and taking the time to understand their personality allows me to give them the best care and make their time away from their owner a positive experience.
