I am a swim teacher and I love it! I work several days a week which each shift is 4-5 hours long. I currently am a part time student and going to school for interior design at a community college but my schedule changes for that each semester. I live with my boyfriend and our 2 fur babies. So during overnight petsits I do like to stop by home and check in on my babies.

Safety, trust & environment
Building an animals trust is crucial. Greeting them on their level is the first. It helps them feel more at ease and using their name for familiarity. Allowing them to approach you on their own time and allowing them to smell you helps them get used to you.
Information Olivia T. would like to know about your pet
I love to play with the dogs rather that be running around in yard, playing fetch, tug-a-war, hide and go seek, or just a simple walk around the neighborhood. For cats I like to play tippy tap, little mouse toys, throw balls, toy wand, and have cardboard boxes for them to scratch. And cuddles are always nice! needs. And have watched a couple pets that have various special needs. However, my experiences with giving medications have only been oral medicine and supplements. I do like to take notes on our intake meeting. But I do like to know their schedule, what time they get fed, what their diet is like, if they have any health issues, and in case of emergency list given to me as well in case I miss or forget something.

Pet care experience
I’ve always loved helping and caring for others since I was young. I used to be an early childhood education teacher. But I decided to pursue another passion, interior design! I still do work with kids as a part time swim teacher. I believe petsitting is a lot like being a teacher. Both pets and children thrive on love, attention, schedule, and routine. I started pet sitting in 8th grade and walking my neighbors dogs. I always wanted a pet ever since I was little. My family finally got our first dog, Begley (whom now is in pet heaven) when I was in 5th grade then we got Malachi when I was in 8th. Now my boyfriend and I have two kittens of our own. I love playing with and caring for dogs and cats. I even have some experience with taking care of other type of pets as well! I do require a meet and greet before confirming a booking whether that be in person or video call to see if I’d be a good fit for your fur babies!

Reviews

Olivia took great care of our boys and our home. She left it all neat and clean. We appreciate her so much and will continue to ask her to sit for us in the future.
Olivia was fantastic! Our dog is on insulin and requires shots everyday. Olivia was happy to do it and sent lots of pics and updates. Will definitely hire her again!

Overall experience was good. Olivia had an emergency and had good communication.
Olivia T. cancelled a booking 4 days before it was scheduled to begin.
