Hey there, my name is Olivia, I go by either Olivia or Liv! I’ve been dog sitting for about 9 years now for friends, family, neighbors and more! I’ve been on Rover for about 7 years. I used to work as a vet technician for a mobile veterinary company; however, I transitioned into my full-time career within the construction industry in 2020. While I may no longer work in the veterinary industry, my passion for animal care remains! I grew up with cats, dogs, reptiles, you name it! I’m a very active person, I love going on long walks (when weather permits), discovering new hiking trails, and getting outdoors as much as possible! I have three cats that are well taken care of at home by my family. Tinker, a Maine Coon mix, the oldest of the bunch. Berto, a typical orange cat – if you know, you know! The most recent addition is Guy, a little tripod kitty. I do have a FAQ sheet If you're interested. It includes all the commonly asked questions I’ve received throughout my years as a sitter! I have my schedule posted just below. However please note that these days/times may vary based on your booking dates. I will always send at least one update a day including photos and/or videos, a status update on their behavior, their eating habits, their exercise level, etc. I have a standard template that I use to ensure that no information is missed. I will always reach out with any question no matter how small to ensure your pets are appropriately cared for! When it comes to safety, I do multiple checks throughout the day on all the pets in the household to ensure they’re all accounted for. When taking pets on walks, I keep the headphone volume low to ensure I can hear my surroundings and act in a proactive manner when necessary.

Olivia was fantastic at taking care of our 3mo old puppy over a holiday and keeping her calm during fireworks. She was in constant contact with us and would send pics of our sweet girl. I would recommend her to anyone to pet sit for them
I cannot say enough amazing things about Olivia! From the very first message, communication was clear, friendly, and reassuring. She treated my pet like her own and went above and beyond to make sure all routines, preferences, and quirks were followed perfectly. I received regular updates and photos that put my mind at ease. It was obvious my pet was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Reliable, attentive, kind, and truly passionate about animals. If you are looking for someone you can completely trust with your pet, look no further. I will 100% be booking again and recommending Olivia to everyone I know. I would recommend Olivia for cat sitting, but unfortunately I cannot recommend her for dog care. I was optimistic she understood that home sitting services are for pets who need more attention and supervision. My cats have an almost fully automated food/water/waste systems which do tend to malfunction and luckily she knew exactly how to troubleshoot that. I can say I came home to happy cats. Conversely, my 12 month old Afghan Hound, the reason for housesitting, was seemingly underserved. He has a Fi collar that tracks a lot of behaviors and movements and halfway through our holiday we noticed his walks were brutally short (10-15 mins daily). That triggered us to check the patio cameras to see how often he was let out. With the exception of rainy days, he was let out about 2-3 times a day with huge gaps between. Aside from one accident she had to disclose since it reeked when we returned and a carpet was disposed, we come back after 8 nights to a dog who began pooping inside again. She did not follow my clear feeding instructions and wanted to throw out his food within 20 minutes of disinterest when I noted he may graze for up to 4 hours. The communication was lighter than expected. Aside from the smell, the house was in good order and she was kind enough to bring packages in and stay an extra hour when our flight was delayed. I do believe she is capable of improvement and hope this is constructive feedback she can apply to her next canine client.
Olivia was great with Hank! She was on time, and Hank had a great time. Olivia was very detail oriented and help clean up after Hank on the walk and in the house (vacuumed his hair). Olivia exceeded expectations so I am more than happy to have her for other services as well
My cats loved Olivia and she did an amazing job taking care of them. She was great at medicating one of my cats and sent photos and updates daily.
Highly recommend Olivia!! She made leaving our pups so easy and kept us updated all weekend with updates and photos :)

Schedule
I’m currently working full-time in office 3 days a week so your pet will have to be comfortable being alone for upwards of 8 hours on those days. I have my schedule posted in my profile, it doesn’t generally stray from that however if it does, I’ll let you know!
