We booked Olivia last minute due to a friend letting us down having our dog & cat. She pet sit at our home for a week, whilst we were away in a cruise. My honest review is that Olivia is approachable, well presented and polite, she stayed in contact with me, she sent me pictures of my dog and cat throughout the week, she gave them lots of cuddles which they must have loved. However, our dog didn’t receive a walk single walk all week, when I asked Olivia she said it was because he seemed distressed when putting his harness & lead on, which is confusing as he usually loves going on a walk. I had to ask if she’d walked him, and if I’d have assumed he had had one I wouldn’t have known any different. I also left an emergency contact for her, which she contacted on the first day of us being away that she was away on a family emergency and had to leave them all day and couldn’t get back until late and asked the emergency contact to feed them as she couldn’t get back, this was at 7.30 pm in the evening after already telling me she’d been out all day too. My emergency contact couldn’t get to feed them that late in the evening, so Olivia said she would go back and sort it. I understand things can happen suddenly, it was just a concern that on day 1 an emergency contact was already used. Once we got home, the house was clean and tidy and the bed was stripped in a pile with towels which was gratefully appreciated & was thoughtful of Olivia, However when expecting the house we have sadly found that rocky (our dog) has weed all over the rug that was soaked & has had to be thrown away, and all up the side of my daughters bed in her bedroom which worries me that he’s been free roaming the house for longer periods of time unsupervised if this has gone unnoticed. Olivia brought to my attention that she thought Rocky may have fleas, I have checked him since I’ve been home and cannot find any, he has long dry hair as a long haired Cavachon so maybe itching through dry coat. He’s on a tablet medication from the vets every month for fleas ticks and worms which I can provide receipt evidence for that he’s being treated monthly for. Olivia was also booked to stay here until 1 pm today until we got back for handover & keys but she messaged and said she had to go this morning and couldn’t be here. On the whole the animals were loved, cuddled and cared for and her communication and photos were lovely, but I want to be transparent about how we have found her service and we wouldn't book her again as think our dog needs someone who’s more confident to take Rocky out for daily 30 +min walks so he’s getting his needs fully met. I understand the issue Olivia has described as to why she couldn’t, however my issue is that this hasn’t happened to us before so is unusual and she contacted me at multiple points all week and never once addressed this with me as an issue , and wouldn’t have mentioned it if I didn’t ask about if he’d been walked or not.

Olivia has regularly looked after and cared for my Cocker Spaniel Cilla. She is very polite and professional, Cilla loves seeing her and is so excited for her walks. Olivia looked after Cilla for 4 nights at her own property and was very respectful with Cilla's routines and dietary requirements. Would recommend 10/10 service and reliability
