Olivia can care for
Availability
As a full-time Montessori preschool teacher, my schedule allows me to provide pet care during weekday mornings and evenings, as well as full availability on weekends. Pet care has always been a natural part of my routine—whether it’s morning walks, administering medication, or sticking to feeding schedules. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I build it into my day with intention and consistency. I’m mindful of each pet’s unique needs and routine, and I prioritize making them feel safe, loved, and well-cared for, even when their humans are away.

Information Olivia P. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to understand their daily routine, personality, and any special needs. For this reason I require a meet and greet prior to booking so we can meet each other to make sure it’s best fit for all involved. I like to know things like: Feeding schedule and dietary restrictions Medication needs or health concerns Walking routine and energy level How your animal typically behaves with new people or other animals Any anxieties or triggers (e.g., loud noises, separation anxiety) Favorite toys, comfort items, or routines that help them feel secure The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you're away.
A typical day
It really depends on what your pet enjoys! For dogs, I love going on walks and just exploring the neighborhood at their pace—whether they’re high-energy or prefer a slower stroll. If they’re more playful, I’ll bring out their favorite toys for some tug-of-war or indoor games. For cats, I’ll keep them entertained with interactive toys, treat puzzles, or even just a cozy window perch and some gentle attention if that’s more their style. I always aim to match their energy and personality to make sure they feel happy, engaged, and loved while you’re away.

Compassionate, Trustworthy Dog Care
Pet care experience
About Me Animals have always been a meaningful part of my life. I grew up with a cat and two dachshunds, all of whom lived well into their senior years. In 2014, I fostered and adopted my beloved pit/lab mix, Roger. Over the years, I’ve fostered several other dogs, including one adopted by my sister and a handful of energetic puppies. In December 2023, a pregnant cat unexpectedly found her way into my life. After just a month of knowing each other, she gave birth to four healthy kittens—right in my closet. We kept her and one of her kittens, a playful orange tabby who fully lives up to the mischievous orange cat reputation. This experience deepened my love and knowledge of feline care, from pregnancy and kittenhood to adult cat behavior and bonding. Sadly, in February 2025, I had to make the difficult decision to put Roger down due to sudden paralysis in his back legs. That moment, though heartbreaking, gave me deeper insight into senior pet care and the emotional depth of the pet-owner bond. I have experience with pets at every stage of life—from newborn kittens and puppies to seniors who need extra patience and medical care. I'm confident administering medication, including pills and eye drops, and making animals feel safe and loved in my care. Availability I’m a full-time Montessori preschool teacher and currently available to care for your pet: Weekdays: Mornings and evenings (before and after work) Weekends: Full availability My Approach Your pet will be treated like family. I’m committed to maintaining their routine—whether that means specific feeding times, favorite walking routes, or a bedtime ritual—so they feel secure and at ease while you're away. I look forward to meeting your furry friend and giving them the same love and attention I give my own.

Reviews

Olivia was such a great house and dog sitter to our two puppies! Highly recommend and will use again!

Olivia did a great job taking care of our two boys, a cat and dog. She provided timely updates and pics - with all happy. Appreciated quick turnaround to set up time and stay over while we were away.

Olivia is wonderful! She takes great care of our dog, who can be reactive and high maintenance at times. She makes sure to always send pictures/updates, allowing us to feel at ease while we are gone!

This was our second time using Olivia to stay the night with our two dogs, and she was great! She knows how to get dogs to feel comfortable around her (both of ours are a bit timid with less familiar people) and she sent us plenty of updates so we could relax while we were out of town. Highly recommend!
