About Me Animals have always been a meaningful part of my life. I grew up with a cat and two dachshunds, all of whom lived well into their senior years. In 2014, I fostered and adopted my beloved pit/lab mix, Roger. Over the years, I’ve fostered several other dogs, including one adopted by my sister and a handful of energetic puppies. In December 2023, a pregnant cat unexpectedly found her way into my life. After just a month of knowing each other, she gave birth to four healthy kittens—right in my closet. We kept her and one of her kittens, a playful orange tabby who fully lives up to the mischievous orange cat reputation. This experience deepened my love and knowledge of feline care, from pregnancy and kittenhood to adult cat behavior and bonding. Sadly, in February 2025, I had to make the difficult decision to put Roger down due to sudden paralysis in his back legs. That moment, though heartbreaking, gave me deeper insight into senior pet care and the emotional depth of the pet-owner bond. I have experience with pets at every stage of life—from newborn kittens and puppies to seniors who need extra patience and medical care. I'm confident administering medication, including pills and eye drops, and making animals feel safe and loved in my care. I’m committed to maintaining their routine—whether that means specific feeding times, favorite walking routes, or a bedtime ritual—so they feel secure and at ease while you're away.
