When caring for a pet — whether in my home or in the comfort of their own — I make sure they receive the same love, attention, and structure I give my own dog, Odie. I start by getting to know each pet’s unique personality, routine, and preferences so I can keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible. This includes sticking to their regular feeding and water schedule, ensuring they have bathroom breaks as often as needed, and making time for play, walks, and rest throughout the day. If they’re staying with me, they’ll have a warm, welcoming home environment with plenty of opportunities for playtime — from fetch in the yard to fun trips to the dog park if that’s something they enjoy. I also make sure there’s time for naps and quiet moments, so they feel calm and relaxed. For in-home visits, I follow the same thoughtful care — maintaining their space, keeping things clean, and respecting their normal routines.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily and weekly routine — something I truly look forward to. I work 2–3 days a week with the Coast Guard in search and rescue, so while my schedule changes, it also gives me plenty of time and flexibility to focus fully on caring for pets when I’m off. On those days, I’m home and available to provide round-the-clock love and attention, making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. My puppy, Odie, is a friendly little companion who loves making new friends, whether that’s playing together at the dog park or enjoying nice long (or short, depending on your pet’s needs) walks. I really value good communication, so we can touch base at the beginning of each month to set up a routine that works best for everyone. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is not just looked after, but truly loved as part of our little pack.
