I worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility for two years, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From group play supervision to feeding, cleaning, and administering medications, I gained experience in all aspects of pet care. I’ve also personally trained three dogs of my own—including a Great Pyrenees and a Black Lab puppy—so I’m very comfortable with everything from basic commands to crate training and leash manners. I’m confident with high-energy pups, large breeds, and dogs who may need a little extra patience.

I prioritize safety, communication, and making pets feel comfortable in their own environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines and instructions closely, provide plenty of attention and supervision, and make sure pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable space. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I also believe in keeping pet parents informed, so I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communicate about any questions or concerns that come up during a visit.

Olivia did a fantastic job keeping our dogs company, feeding, and walking them over the weekend. She was punctual, communicative, and followed all instructions for the pups. Our dogs also loved her!
Olivia was great! She watched my 1.5 year old lab, Sophie, at my house overnight and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving her in Olivia’s hands. We did a meet & great beforehand so everyone felt comfortable and Olivia even brought a notebook for some notes on how to care for Sophs while I was away! I loved all the picture updates while I was gone - it was much appreciated! When I got home from my trip, it was like Sophie hadn’t missed a beat.. which just goes to show that Olivia took great care of her. Will absolutely reach out to Olivia again the next time Sophie needs a sitter. Highly recommend her to care for anyone’s pups!!

Schedule
I am currently a master’s student and am looking for flexible side work that fits around my school schedule. I also work part-time as a caretaker, but I have flexibility throughout the week and am happy to work with pet parents.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their daily routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, allergies, and any behavioral or medical concerns. Please let me know about things like leash reactivity, separation anxiety, fear of certain situations, or triggers I should be aware of. I also appreciate knowing their favorite activities, treats, toys, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable and happy. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide safe, personalized care.
