Hi there, I’m a mom of two teenagers. We have had our cat Phoebe for 8 years and our previous cat Fiona for 9 years. We fostered our first dog in December 2021 for one month and throughly enjoyed the cuddles and love from him. He was a Labrador and Pyrenees mix who came to us positive for heartworm. We successfully managed strict medical protocols, administered medication and crate trained. I have also cared for our friends and family dogs when they are on vacation. The care included daily playing, walking and visit to dog parks (High Park/Cedarvale and Earl Bales) which I absolutely enjoy!! (We only visit dog parks by owners request and/or repeat customers). I also have experience with dogs that are reactive, or with separation anxiety. With one small dog in particular which we cared for overnight several times, this was an issue which included a strict training schedule to slowly adapt to leaving him alone. We are a busy family and don’t own our own dog, but love to take time to spend time with furry friends!

We are beyond grateful to Olivia Mendicino for taking such incredible care of our dog, Lupo, while we were away in Italy for three weeks. From the moment we left, we knew Lupo was in the best hands. Olivia went above and beyond — not only meeting all of Lupo’s needs, but also giving him so much love, attention, and care as if he were her own. We came home to a happy, healthy, and very well-loved pup! It was clear that she took the time to understand his personality, routine, and quirks, and it made all the difference. She kept us updated throughout our trip, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. It’s not easy to find someone you trust completely with your pet, but Olivia is that rare person. Olivia was amazing with my dogs - made it work on my schedule and provided tons of updates. Couldn’t be more grateful for her!
Riley has spent the last ten days with Olivia and her family. Because she has been so wonderful at providing updates, we felt comfortable the entire time he was with them. Riley is a leash-reactive dog, but she was able to handle him so well. She sent us pictures and videos daily. Will absolutely recommend them and use them once more in the future. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely will!

Schedule
Would love a chance to take care of your pets. I’m available mostly on weekends. Also have an eager teenager that enjoys the new friends we make! Should your dog stay with us they will be well cared for!

I love to stimulate dogs with long walks in and around the neighbourhoods. I enjoy being outdoors and am open to playful situations with other friendly dogs. If your dog prefers staying alone I can totally accommodate your preferences! We can have fun together with walks and games.
