I have a fenced in yard with three house trained, dog friendly doggos. They get a walk everyday and let out as much as they need. My husband and I love to go in the backyard with them and run around or take them on adventures in the car. My dogs do sleep in our room, either in their beds or on our bed, whatever they prefer and that is the same option I will always give your dog. I can crate if needed/requested. Wally and Reed are fed three small meals a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and evening, but I know not everyone’s food schedule is this way. All feedings are separated from your dogs. My older dog has allergies and is given allergy medication daily as well as ear drops which makes me capable of following a medication routine. We also have a Furbo indoor camera that has all eyes on the dogs at all times and baby gates to separate large areas of our home just incase anything were to ever happen. There are times where I will be sitting other dogs as well as yours. All dogs are slowly introduced on leash in the backyard in a safe environment. I allow the dogs to take the time they need to settle in and get a feel and sense of smell of their surroundings. If an owner feels as though the stay will not work out, I am completely understanding. I would never want an owner or dog to ever feel uncomfortable in my home. If you are unsure of your dogs feelings toward other dogs, especially males, I always recommend a meet and greet in advance. I have never cared for a special needs animal, but I have taken care of very sick animals and making sure they are comfortable and accommodated for. If you have a special needs dog and are considering me, I would make all the accommodations necessary to make your pet feel right at home and comfortable.
