At the moment, I am very free to take care of your pet everyday. Once a day tues-sun i have to go to the barn to ride my horses. I wont be gone more than 4 hours to do that. My days will get busier around fall and I am occasionally away at horse shows.

I live in a cozy yet spacious apartment. Kept organized and clean. Perfect for cats or the mild energy dog. I dont have a fenced yard so if your dog needs free range that is something i cant provide day to day. But I can always bring them to dog parks or sniff spots if that is something you would like. I can provide twice daily walks or more if needed. *********IMPORTANT: My dog (Luca) is susceptible to parasites, especially giardia. He is on preventative and has all his vaccinations , but I cannot allow or take on UNVACCINATED or UNPROTECTED pets. I can’t take a dog that is showing any signs or symptoms of a parasite or other illness. If your dog is vomiting or has loose stool and diarrhea, please contact your vet because they could be a great danger to others they may encounter. Please make sure your dog is perfectly healthy before requesting any kind of boarding. Please be responsible, truthful, and honorable when booking sitting or boarding for your dog. What I want to know: Please let me know if your dog is crate trained, has separation anxiety, is not potty trained, has accidents, likes to chew things and swallow, has any medical conditions, likes to pull on the leash, and if they are high or low energy. For peace of mind, I ALWAYS crate dogs when I leave the house and while I sleep. Dogs are allowed on the couch but not the bed. I would also just like to know what your pupper is like! Tell me what his favorite things to do are! Does he have a favorite game or toy? Any special treats he enjoys? A typical day
Right now I am figuring out some career goals. So most of my days is researching or practicing career skills. But for a few hours a day tues-sun I am at the barn riding and taking care of my horses. I usually take my dog with me. If your dog would prefer a friend I can leave them together if I believe its safe. As for activities i can take dogs for multiple walks a day around my property. I also have a vacant lot that i can take them to for some free range running! I have many fun toys for them to play and chew with. And a comfy couch for them to romp on. A lot of the day is me and my dog relaxing so if you dog is a couch potato thats something i can definitely accommodate! Since I am gone for a few hours a day I will need to know if your dog is OK being in a crate. **I always crate dogs for safety reasons.** I have a large and medium size crate but if your dog is larger I may ask you to provide one for them. You're dog must be comfortable in a crate to stay with me.

Pet care experience
I have worked with and been around all kinds of pets my entire life. I have owned many different kinds of dogs including high energy breeds. My father uses cocker spaniels, brittanys, and labradors to hunt. When he wasn't hunting with them, I trained and took care of them. We even bred out labradors. I also have a good amount of experience with cats and a great deal of experience with horses. I know horses have nothing to do with this, BUT if I can take care of a half ton heard animal I can definitely handle your high energy doodle!

Olivia and I have been friends for the past 5 years since we met freshman year of college. Over that time I have had the privilege of getting to know her as a caring friend, especially when it comes to animals. Last year, after graduation, she adopted a dog named Luca, she has done a great job teaching him boundaries and making sure he is well taken care of.
