I have worked with anyone from the the skiddish cat in the corner afraid of a leaf to the hard headed stallion fighting to be with the closest mare, so I’m very familiar with and confident in both anxious and strong willed personalities! I grew up horseback riding and helped my family a lot growing up with pet sitting as well, and with my experience dog grooming, am confident I can keep your family member as safe and comfortable as possible with their loved one away. Most people describe me as gentle, studious, and deeply attentive. As a former groomer I know how to deal with anxious dogs through the terrifying stages of grooming keeping them as comfortable as possible, through bathing, drying, and cutting fur professionally, even on animals who did not want to be there at all - I picked up a lot of skills in how to calm dogs in those states. I have experience in cats as well, having owned, raised, rescued, traveled with, and being a cat person myself, I’m familiar with both skiddish and aggressive cats and love all. I am happy to bring all that I’ve learned from my experiences now as I join Rover!
