Neighborhood Animal Lover!
After a 4 year Rover hiatus, I am back! I currently work at a cat only rescue and am trying to fill the dog void. I’d love to spend time with your pup, whether that’s going for a long walk, playing fetch in the yard, or just chilling inside. I’ve owned medium and large dogs ranging from extremely laid back to reactive, so I’m comfortable providing care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I also have experience caring for senior dogs with mobility issues and am more than willing to learn how to handle any specific senior pet needs. I’m comfortable giving pets of all kinds oral medications and would love to learn how to administer subcutaneous medications if needed! I also love love love working with cats! Please read my cat page for more info! I’ve been pet sitting locally and for friends and family since I was young. I may have taken a break from Rover, but I never stopped pet sitting. I just slowed down a bit. I’m very excited to get fully back in the swing of things!

I am not currently offering services in my home as we have a very cat centered household and I wouldn’t want to cause them stress by bringing in other pets without proper introductions. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and as stress free as possible in their own environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely and make sure I understand their personality, boundaries, and any specific needs while they’re in my care. I’m big on communication with owners and will always ask questions if I’m unsure about something rather than guessing. Whether I’m in your home or out on a walk, I’m attentive to my surroundings and take safety seriously. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable with me and for you to feel confident leaving them in my care.

Olivia did a great job of checking in on my two cats while we were on a short vacation. She made sure that they were happy and sent us lots of cute pictures of them!
So kind and caring with our pups - especially patient with our finicky Pip who pouts when Mom is gone. Would love to work with Olivia again!

Schedule
I am currently working full time Wednesday through Sunday. I have full availability on most Mondays and Tuesdays with some evening availability on Saturdays and Sundays.

- I love getting as much information as possible before caring for a new pet! The more I know, the better I can make their time with me comfortable and stress free. I especially appreciate detailed instructions for pets with medical or behavioral needs, and I’m always happy to learn their routines and anything I need to know to care for them properly. I’d love to know their likes and dislikes, triggers, quirks, boundaries, favorite activities, and anything that might make them nervous or uncomfortable. For pets with behavioral challenges, please don’t worry about giving me “too much” information. I’d much rather know what to expect ahead of time so I can set them up for success. For pets with medical needs, I appreciate detailed instructions about medications, symptoms to watch for, mobility limitations, feeding routines, and what is normal vs. when I should be concerned. I’m always happy to ask questions and clarify anything beforehand!
