I have experience caring for dogs both in my own home and in their owners’ homes. While on a gap year in Melbourne, Australia, I looked after dogs in my home while their owners were away, ensuring they felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for. More recently, I regularly care for a Cockapoo in the owner’s home while they are away, maintaining their usual routine and providing plenty of attention, walks, and companionship. I also have a lovely 10-year-old Sproodle at my family home, who I have helped care for since she was a puppy. She has given me valuable experience with the day-to-day responsibilities of owning a dog, from walks and playtime to feeding and providing lots of affection. She is very friendly and gets on well with dogs of a similar size. I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors and love going for walks, so taking dogs out for exercise is something I look forward to rather than seeing as a chore. My aim is always to make every dog feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners complete peace of mind. I also have had cats ever since I was born so I am used to caring for them, including feeding, litter care, and providing affection. Further experience comes from my job. I work in home care, where tasks regularly involve caring for our customers’ pets, particularly cats and dogs.
