I am a teacher off for the summer. I have a flexible schedule and love going on adventures with my own dog, Sully. He is a medium sized Bernedoodle. I take him on 3-4 walks a day. I am available for walks and to go and let dogs out to play and use the restroom. I enjoy training dogs and can work on tricks with dogs to help with their energy. I am looking to walk dogs mainly and because of my flexibility I can do multiple visits or let outs during the day to save people the stress of their fur babies being cooped up all day.

I have a friendly dog in my home. He is almost 2 years old, and he is crate trained. He likes to get to know dogs and walk together for smaller periods of time then build up to playing with them. I am willing to bathe dogs in my own tub which I do for my own dog. I can line brush to prevent matting in dogs that have curly hair like doodles. Brushing teeth can be a challenge but fitting that into a daily schedule is essential to keep plaque away and teeth healthy. Dog dental health is very important to me. I am willing to work on training with treats and I love walking with dogs to allow them to sniff and explore to get their energy out.

Let me know if your dog has any specific things to watch for when walking them. I know that I cannot always prevent off leash dogs from appearing but how they handle that and what precautions to take to make sure they are safe and comfortable. As well as if they enjoy car rides or do not, and if they feel comfortable walking in environments like parks with other people and dogs around at times. It would be nice to know their schedule as well to know the right care for them and at their usual times. Whether it is a specific time they use the restroom or eat or start to settle down before their humans come home from work.

I like to if possible take them to local parks. There is a park that is less than 5 minutes from my house and they have trails as well as a road path that I often walk dogs on. I also spend time training in the house as well as on one of the walks I do with a dog. I often play hide and seek with my own dog at home after dinner as a way to play and get some energy out before I do a daily brushing and teeth brushing. I also enjoy relaxing on my big porch in the shade and giving pupsicles or bone broth ice cubes to dogs as a way to cool down in the summer.

Ever since I was a kid I loved taking care of animals. Whether it was feeding the fish and helping clean their tanks or teaching our dog new tricks. I am the person who always offers to watch dogs when friends and family go on vacations. I love seeking out places that are dog friendly to take my own dog to. Dogs truly are man’s best friend and I am very excited to help take care of your best buds.
