I can walk dogs in your neighborhood or in a park or where ever else you feel comfortable with. For drop-in visit I am also willing to bring the dogs on a short walk if requested. I love to play with dogs however they play best. I am willing to prepare food however you need it done (that includes raw diets and wet food). I use balance/positive training on my dogs at home but will use what ever form of training and or correction you want with your dog. I am not averse to using tools such as prong collars or e-collar if used correctly and safely. I do not walk off-leash ever.

It is important for me to know a bit about the pet’s personality in order to offer the best care I can. I would also like to be informed of how they react to other dogs/animals and people and how I should handle running into them (i.e. should I cross the road when I see other people/dogs, or should I let them say hi). I would like to know any commands they have that would be important for me to know. For example, if they have a recall command or a command for leaving things alone. For drop ins, I would like to know what they enjoy doing to keep them entertained and happy (such as training or playing).
A typical day
I am willing to go to parks for dog walks. I am familiar most with country park, battleground park (Guilford Courthouse National Military Park), and the Bicentennial Garden. However, I am willing to go to other parks. If your dog has good recall I am willing to bring them to dog parks. I am very familiar with training dogs on walks if you want to walk me through how you want the dog to be trained and what behaviors you want rewarded. I would also love to train or play with your pets at home! Just tell me how they like to play or what tricks or skills you want me to work on with them.

Pet care experience
I helped raise and train both my family's dogs with balanced/positive training. I have a good understanding and awareness of dog and cat body language. I have experience walking dogs on prong collars and harnesses and with e-collars. I also have experience walking 2 dogs at once. I've walked small, medium, and large dogs of many different breeds with different temperaments. I also have experience caring for other exotic animals such as cats, bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, turtles, and small birds. I can really handle anything as I have interned as a zoo keeper.
