I’m a PhD student and will love to spend time with your pets! I can be available during working hours and am flexible. If I have a day that you need marked as unavailable, don’t be afraid to ask as I might have some flexibility! I typically take one or two days off each week to give my dog all the attention she needs, but I’m flexible!

If possible, I normally like to meet animals beforehand so they aren’t surprised by a new person coming into their home! I’ve worked with anxious, frightened, and aggressive dogs before so I know some general warning signs to look out for and have some ways to help calm them back down safely. I’d also ask you to share any information about their behavior with me and some ways you help them so I can be consistent with what they’re used to.

I like to know how they are with other people, how they are with other animals, general info about their normal routine, how do they normally act on walks, what’s their favorite toys, favorite treats, etc. i just ask that you share some general info about their typical behavior and anything else you think I should know!
Ein typischer Tag
My favorite place to take my dog is the river walk! If you have favorite routes at home though, we can do that too! I’m also a runner so if you have a high energy pup who likes to go for runs, I can take them with me. We can also just play with their favorite toys too!

I spend the most time with big dogs. I currently have a Great Pyrenees and most of my family has big dogs. I’m comfortable around them, have experience walking them, and know how to take care of them (they grow so fast!). However, I’ve also dealt with smaller dogs. Additionally, I’ve worked with dogs who are anxious, skiddish, or not comfortable around other animals. I’ve learned ways to help calm them down and make sure they have fun!

Olivia has always been great at walking our dog Goose. She's always on time and deals with how crazy he is.
Olivia really helped me out with my dog when my family and friends were unavailable. She took her for a nice long walk and even let her swim in the creek (which is her favorite thing ever).
Olivia is amazing!! Milo was very scared and agitated when the weekend began, but through Olivia’s patience and love became her happy self again!! Her calm demeanor with Milo reassured her and made her feel comfortable! She walked her everyday and her communication was very much appreciated!!!
Liv is great with dogs! She has a very calming presence which puts everyone at ease. I have a very active dog who loves to go for long walks or run. She would take him and he’d come back happy and ready for a long nap!
